LOL! Russel Wilson...

Anyway I agree, there should not be 4 QB's ahead of Brady, and I'm a Colts fan.

Manning 98
Rodgers 97
Brady and Brees 96
Rivers 94

That sounds about right to me.

Wilson should be an 89-91, same for my boy Andrew Luck, and I guess Cam Newton also.

Agreed. Every week is different. And I never said Wilson is better than Brady. That's why I didn't use examples from a week 5 match up like the Tony Romo example. I used the very next game. Same with Manning vs Seattle's defense vs what Kaepernick was able to do against it.

Just trying to show that a certain players' skill set may be more conducive to having success against certain defenses. Where has Brady struggled? Against the Giants and Ravens or any team that could get him off his mark with a pass rush. Primarily a rush in his face. I'm saying vs those types of teams maybe a Russell Wilson is better suited to defeat them because of his mobility/escapability. And it may just be those one or two plays that Wilson is able to keep a drive alive by using his feet or buying that extra second that allows his team to sustain a drive or keep his defense fresh and off of the field that dictates whether or not they win or lose the game.

That's my big question. What scheme are these overalls based on? With the introduction of schemes in madden overalls fluctuate from system to system.

Then there is the question of whether scheme really means anything as far as production on the field. The 85 that drops to a 75 due to scheme, does there production drop as well? If not, then what good are schemes in CFM? If the production doesn't drop, then it makes it advantageous to get players out of your scheme for the lower contracts. My 70 D.Harris was actually more productive than my 85 Lacey.

Overalls aren't affected by scheme in play now. These are base ratings. They only change in CFM. Even then you can look at your depth chart in game and see the real ratings.

Russell Wilson having the same overall rating as Tom Brady is so comical, and so obviously bad that it's not even really worth discussion. Anyone with a brain would agree that it's just embarrassingly facepalm worthy.

Having him rated higher than guys like Rivers and Luck is a slap in the face, too, in my opinion. I'm sure you could make a case for a handful of other QBs to have a higher rating than Wilson, too.

By production are you talking CPU simmed games or user games?

Overalls don't affect anything in user played games as far as I know. Overall is more used as a cheat sheet to tell you who's the better player in your system.

If I have my WR scheme set to (deep threat) my faster wr will have a higher overall than my slow wrs. It doesn't make my fast wr better, it's just a visual so I don't have to go through every attribute.

Production in played games. Overalls are used in salaries. I'm on the fence with how schemes should be implemented. If a player doesn't fit a scheme, shouldn't his production be affected (in played games)? But then, a deep threat scheme would still want "some" possession receivers. How do you create a balance between salary, scheme and player production?
