Oh wow, that's extremely underwhelming then. But pretty much spot on with what I'd expect from EA.

Does anyone else have a problem with the feature list? I find they always reuse features that already exist. For example, the set piece tactics. Those have been in FIFA since 11 or 12, can't remember which. Players have been jumping over one another to win headers already as well. Like when I am on defense and EA, by default, has Marcelo marking Benteke or a similar player on a corner, and because I can't change who marks who, Benteke just climbs over Marcelo's back and powers in a header. I could see maybe the add a new animation to this, but it can't be brand new? And ball physics, which they just added to FIFA 14 (apparently). Looks cool 10% of the time when I take a long shot and it swerves, but the other 90% of the time the ball doesn't have any spin on it until it hits the ground, post, another player, or the keeper. Is that going to be fixed now?

For me, I'm disappointed, and I absolutely will not buy it even though I do still have a 360. Going backwards is not something I'm at all interested in, because no matter how much they improve it, it still will not be on the level of FIFA 14 NG. I guess time will tell if it was a good decision for them, it sure wasn't for us.
Lots of people here bought NG systems (most of them bought XONEs or imported PS4s), and a lot of people on a BR forum where i often post are disappointed as well. I still think they decided to release it only for the old gen consoles cause the installed base is much bigger on the old gen consoles, and when i think about the shortage of NG systems on the stores, this move looks like a smart one (commercially), as they will just make the game as if it was a FIFA 14 patch on the old gen.

Well, i feel bad for those who bought a NG system, cause a lot of people would buy the game for their brand new consoles.

I feel like after the launch of 360/PS3, I would wait a year until buying new consoles in the future and this is one reason why. As a sports gamer, I still don't see any reason to go to PS4/XB1.

I feel like I'm the only one who hasn't upgraded yet and doesn't care about it not being available on next gen.

I am in the same boat. Secretly I am kind of happy that the old gen is still getting some attention. But lets keep that between us.

That is a good catch. I am an offline gamer who has been feeling the online push beginning to squeeze me out of the market. If true, this could be that final push. No sense in buying a world cup game if I can't actually play through the whole tournament.

As much as I love the World Cup, I always feel that the special edition of the video game is lacking. It's basically just a port with some event-specific features that they will charge $60 for. I wont pick it up until after the actual World Cup and that's if I am not fully immersed in my xbox one.

Same here. And to be honest, i'm not thinking about next gen consoles anymore. I'll probably buy a PC. I'm disappointed with the specs of these two consoles, and i'm not really into paying 70%+ than the price of the same game on PC.
