Re: Madden NFL 25 Impressions (PS4)

CPU runners seem to use juke and spin moves much more frequently. I am liking it.

Yeah I just put the game in standby.

Don't quit the game. Just press the PS twice to bring you to the PS dashboard so the game will continue running in the background.

Cornerbacks play the run 100x better.

Defensive players also react to scrambling Qbs far better than current gen

Thanks for all the impressions. It sounds like the game is good but not great. I will not get it. I want to be blown away and that clearly will not happen. If there is a demo, I will check it out.

This seems to be a feature unique to Madden, at least so far. I know the ps4 is getting suspend And resume later, but it doesn't work for me in any game right now except Madden, so give EA some credit. I too am surprised they didn't tout this feature. I personally have been asking for it since they took it out in 2006.

Madden feels like it's probably closer to 40 FPS most of the time, plus it still stutters a lot.
And I'm betting that's the reason why the visuals are the way they are. They got scaled back.

It's extremely noticeable after playing NBA 2K and Battlefield, which are both locked in at 60 frames per second.

Madden is skipping frames and stuttering all over the place for me.
Is no one else having framerate issues? It is certainly not a solid 60fps. It seems much less smooth than the 360 version.
