I assume the new game would port over whatever roster you have and consider that as being the roster you downloaded or created for your new game.
Sorry, that wasn't suppose to be quoting you. I'm new and that was a mistake.

Will it ever generate a 0-0 count?

If you take a pitch, does it potentially advance later in the at-bat again?

Yes

No

It's simple. GC means that you'll step up to the plate with a count already up there. It could be 0-0, 0-1, 1-0, 1-1, 1-2, 2-1, 2-2, 3-2, 2-0, 3-0, 3-1

BOOM

That's it

You step up to the plate and it's 3-0...you then play out the at bat fully. No jumping around.

I was just thinking how I never play Cactus/Grapefruit League games.
GPC's will now allow me to. More games played is always a good thing.
Thanks SD Studio!

Why is there a "Generated Pitch Count" pros and cons mini-discussion? You are either giddily excited by its now availability (because we had the opportunity back in the day with ASB) and its randomness; or you prefer to generate your count in its purity. Options=Bliss!

Because people who don't like it have nothing else better to do then throw in their .02 and get on their high horse that they are true baseball sim purists who need to play out every pitch, watch every cut scene, spit sunflower seeds in their living room, wear cleats, yell at the umpires, and get off their couch to wave runners home.
