I was thinking about how cool it would be if they'd make like a sandlot field to choose from and some neighbourhood crew to relive the games you played as a kid on your local sandlot

Would be a nice break from your franchise/season/rtts if you ask me.

All Star Baseball 2005 had this mode. It was okay. Remove the commentary and crowd audio, give them sleeved T-shirts and backwards hats, draft who you want to, then it's sandlot play.

EDIT: Maybe it was 2004...
