Also that screen of Carmelo declaring for free agents made me giddy.

Also, the fact that small market teams can no longer sign big time free agents (Or it's at least more difficult) makes the experience a lot more realistic

Really? REALLY??? You find it hilarious that I wanna play Basketball, in a BASKETBALL game? All they had to do was fix the trade/free agent logic/rotations and maybe a few other minor tweaks, and Association would have been beautiful. Now, in order to run an "Association" I have to worry about a bunch of sh-t that I have no interest in worrying about. It might as well be named NBA 2K14: The Sims Edition.

I understand there are ppl out there that want all this stuff. But YOU need to understand that there are ppl out there that DON'T want that stuff. And it seems that we are the ones that are being ignored. Good for you. Bad for me.

This sounds like Football Manager for basketball, and I love it.

They have a game for people like you. Its Called NBA 2K14, and its out now for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Oh man, this is almost too much to process. I'm gonna be spending soooo much time in this mode, and they didn't even talk about MyCareer which is 40 hours long in just the first season. I'm gonna need time to process all of this.

News flash....YOU STILL GET TO PLAY BASKETBALL GAMES

Would it hurt you to use your brain and try and understand what it is REALLY like to run a basketball team, or just do the bare minimum in a completely un-realistic, way of pressing a button and "running" your team.

That's one of my favourite parts of it. In current-gen 2K, if you had the cash to sign a Dwight Howard or Chris Paul, even if you were on the Bobcats, they'd agree.
