Player tendencies being accurate is much more IMPACTFUL IMO than the overall rating assigned to a player.
I've never understood the concept of crying about overall ratings especially when you can just jack up the ratings yourself if you don't agree with them.
Blake has yet to develop any post up game or any semblance of a jumper and the thing that bothers me most about Blake is that you never read anything about him coming back the next year and working on his game over the summer to expand his skills.
At the end of the day both players are flawed on offense and I don't view either guy as being capable of leading a team to a title being the #1 guy.
For the record I'm a bigger fan of lower ratings because I believe very few players should be considered ELITE.
Elite to me should be reserved for guys like Jordan, Bird, Magic, Russell or Wilt.
If EA rated the entire NBA under 90 overall with the exception of a few players like LeBron for example I wouldn't even care because I find in this day and age of the NBA there are more flawed players than ever before.
