On the 360 there was never foot hovering, it was always a problem on PS3. I own bothe systems.
But there's no hovering in either video. It's all Xbox One, there's no way EA is showing PS4 footage.

I'm kind of confused here...

The AP running animations look great but the Darren Sproles animations from the MNF video look completely different.

So is the MNF an early build or is this some kind of souped up trailer that will look nothing like the final product?

EA took 9 years on this generation, but it's still as mediocre as ever. We've already had games from years ago like 2K5, APF 2K8, and BackBreaker that have shown us what else is possible on less powerful consoles - better movements, presentation, and real physics.

Why hasn't it all found it's way into EA games after all this time? Nobody can answer this. Is it marketing? Is it ego? Is it developer ability? Is it effort or lack of competition? Is it the overall direction of the game? Is it because the core of the game isn't easily changeable?

Why? - why are still being fed the same product when we've already seen how much better it can be?

Right - so it took Rockstar 5 years to make the most comprehensive console game in history. It's take Tiburon 9 years to... Wait - it's still not as good as games in 2004... So yeah, it takes longer for some than others.

I'm all about the now, but you can't make statements like this. you think the NBA live guys are thinking to themselves, "The fans will be patient..., let's just make small incremental improvements". With competition all bets are off. Had we had another option, Madden would be collecting dust as a museum piece or it would be a fantastic game by now. They've already lost a large portion of their customer base and if they don't turn it around sooner rather than later, they will lose even more.

I'm thinking (hoping) it was an early build and/or not all the code branches hadn't been merged the branch they showed.

The sidelines still look like static pieces of crap, and we all saw the same disgusting cut scene crap in the coach glass video. It's a port with a few small enhancements. I'll be so damn mad at the people who purchase this game. It's only worth a rental at best. You rich people with good jobs, be my guest and buy it. Hopefully the other 90 percent of the world will be smart and save their much needed money on something else that really matters in life.

Ok I'll play along. What makes ppl dumb if they enjoy madden and you don't?
second) how do you know they aren't showing old sideline footage to not give anything away from their Living Worlds trailer that will come out in a few weeks?
I'm not saying that these aren't the final sidelines. But how about we wait until we see the actual final build of the game before we start crying about how broke we are that we can't afford to buy guys that should only be rented...

You know,.. now that I think about it, the fact that they so quickly and seamlessly implemented the ability to import the PS3 NCAA 14 draft classes,.... that may have been a pretty strong indicator that we're just getting a shined up port of current gen Madden 25.

Here's to hoping I'm wrong.
