actually numbers lie too. you can make numbers say anything you want them to say.

for example
"my crew is the best, therefore i'm the best"

then we ask "how so?"

you respond "because my crew was ranked in the top 10 and i look at my stats"

but what is missing in those numbers? we cant see that you were a boosted player, playing on a team full of 8'5 dudes with kanye heads on them, dunking to stop matches when you did lose to not take that real L.

see YOUR numbers dont tell us that.

i dare anyone to show me they were ranked high in the old crew rankings and they had a crew full of normal sized players for their position and didnt have any PED players(boosted stats). its not happening. I would know. i had a regular my player that i worked for his 99 overall but not actually 99 in every stat. you know the real my player 99. I would destroy guys that were NOT boosted. i could hang with some of the boosted guys. but the moment when i go for that block, and i notice i could never get it. the moment i go up for that rebound after boxing mr boosted out, the moment beat mr boosted to the rack but i still blow the layup..is when i realized. you cant beat a half decent player thats playing with a boosted player without you yourself getting a boosted player. its not happening. so we know what the deal is.

lastly. to say "i play to win" means nothing. its call a video...GAME. games are played to have FUN first. not to win. but to actually have FUN.

when you play the game like it was DESIGNED to be played and you play your opponent who plays the game like it was DESIGNED to be played. BOTH of you win or lose will have the ultimate FUN. but go ahead and just think about winning. you're missing out on that real fun.

Now back to the original point of this thread.

CREW mode being blacktop 2.0 and 2k once again more or less lying to us to get us hyped then to pull a fast one on us. shame on yall. and if any of the game testers that made that "CREW IS BACK" video knew this. shame on them for allowing 2k to muffle them so they wouldnt tell the masses the truth...if thats what happened.

now everyone should understand why EVEN the nba live haters, detractors, or ex live fans that could care less about nba live... this is why you need LIVE to work. so 2K has some competition and they put the FIRE to 2k's butts.
I bet you if you NBA LIVE was LEGIT for this generation/consoles. That 2k would've given us our old crew mode back with enhancements. especially if you go back to what that NBA ELITE was talking about doing with your superstar(or myplayer). and having you on teams and in leagues and what not. 2k would've had their hands forced. they would have HAD no choice but to make crew mode back like it was and a bit better.

remember this the next time you clown on LIVE. you should beg live to make a great product if you love 2k.

pnp speaking the truth. by the way, my team was legit, and finished ranked 26th. though on ps3 we didn't have to deal with crazy hacks, we just had to deal with the "yo bych sucked our crew dikk hoe" uncapped people.

its funny you think that because im high ranked, or my team finished #2, that we had to cheat to win......i'll let you believe that.

if by cheating you mean having an uncapped myplayer, well then i guess everyone on 2k is guilty of that. god bless those who chose to stay with their uncapped myplayers.

Cheaters want crew back.....that's an odd thing to say...a lot of "Legit Crews" ran with 7'5 mop top my players and would hop-step and pump-fake all day even when they didn't need to just because they ran into top ranked competition. I felt like as a top ranked crew we just got cheated and stuff just because people knew what we were ranked and didn't want to lose and also for bragging rights to say they knocked off a top 5 crew.


Being top ranked isnt as fun or as glamorous as some of ya'll think it is.

People stay coming for your spot, and everyone brings their "A" game against you or pretty much try to cheeze you to win...

pump-fake to foul
lag free throws/jumpshots
full court passes
hop step in the paint
left, right til they get open
corner 3's
over grown myplayers
stay in zone all game

Walk in my shoes and tell me it's easy.....

My Crew was 100% legit. I don't know what you consider "ranked high" but we was in the 30s. You can check a quick vid and see we was all normal height and all capped. It actually was a few crews who were ranked high and legit. Now, Top 10, I doubt any were legit. If you were about to win, expect to get lagged out.

Also, I don't respect the way Leaderboards was hacked and how his crew played at all. But he wasn't a scrub. Like I said before, you know what players that can play and know 2K by the stuff they do on the court and you also know who the bums is even if they win because of their hacks. He's good, but I just don't respect anyone that hacks a game man. I just wanna play ball. I don't care about the "cheese" vs "Sim" arguments. Just play ball w/o exploiting the game.

the reason you could be ranked 26th overall, is because you didnt have to play super hacks. 99 everything + 8'5. that will dunk to glitch the game the moment they think they're going to lose.

see i was legit for a long time, my entire crew was legit. but we would always lose to super cheasers. then we all said ya know what. lets give these guys some of their own medicine. we had a policy. no SUPER hacks. just 99 overalls. nothing more, nothing less. thats when we started seeing the super hacks try everything in the arsenal. now we were still playing real sim basketball. running plays, not hop stepping or euro moves every play. those cheaters couldnt stand the fact that someone that wasnt 8'5 coudl beat them. so they would hop step and push you backwards 10 feet. we figured out how to stop that to some degree. they went to the corner three's. we trapped them. they went to the corner three in full sprint and fade(cash 90% of the time). then they found the cheat of all cheats to make you blow layups and stop you mid dunk animation to some terrible layup. they would stand under the basket with their hands up. not guarding you. just under the basket. they knew 2K(which they admit in 2k14 videos). that they would make your stats go down if someone was in the paint. well what if that someone was 8'5 with boosted stats? you will now blow layups or dunk attempts just cause they are in the area.

this was something us xbox 360 people had to deal with.

but with all that. I STILLLLL liked that crew better then a crew going to 21. thats how good the mode was. and it was still bare bones.

IT should be a running league(or leagues). where people play for the championship(s). league leaders stats kept, MVP's, defensive player of hte year awards, etc. that should all be apart of crew mode.
