NBA 2K14 Features Crew Mode - 3-on-3 or 5-on-5

People always quit in random blacktop because usually they run into those pg sg combos who didn't have a third and get shut out of the offense unless they were lucky enough to get the Pg position. And 3v3 games still have the tendency not to be sim since say there is a close game (For example 17-17 19-19 you get my drift) then the thought process for most who are just trying to win goes straight to jack up 2's ftw.

Yeah far from sim I was just saying quitting is not nearly as bad as it is random teamup. People quit on tipoff because they get Haslem instead of Lebron. I don't think we gotta worry about quitters in crew because of the loyalty factor.

Ima just stick to gb team up matches this yr, even though we run in 3s. GB teamup is the closet thing to crew even without the Myplayers,lol save my vc this yr for MyTeam instead of building up a MyPlayer for online

Look at my stats...i only have top ranked crew members on my xbox 360 friends list...trust me...this is all we talk about...we dont to play 3 vs 3 or 5 vs 5...we want 2k10/2k11 crew with improvements. not really...2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3 was more fun because people want to get the ball. Playing 5 vs 5 or 4 vs 4 is insane because someone wont be getting touches on that team. I might be in the minority here, but I don't work on my myplayer to go head and average 5 points a game. GTFOH...thats insane...Imagine kobe, lebron, durant, melo, d rose, westbrook, or any elite player for that matter working on their game during the off-season to just come into the regular season and just average 5 or 6 points a game. with less players comes more opportunities to score and stat stuff.

playing 4 vs 4 or 5 vs 5, you would literally need people to sacrifice their game for the greater good to get wins. I mean it sounds cool and all, but i don't know that many dumb people on the planet that will let me and another partner do all the scoring and let them just sit there and get rebounds and table scraps every game.

lol all the top crews were hax so being #1 or #1000 means absolutely nothing.


whether I'm in the minority or not (no real evidence either way), Crew is not really crew if it's with CPU. We should call it my player co-op. The crew concept I know is a mode that is about my players squaring off, not CPU bots sharing half the court.


how does the real NBA manage to have 10 players on the court? u say 5vs5 won't work yet there's plenty of successful 5on5 private teamup games going on all the time.


I think it will suck that it's only up to 21. But I'm thinking teammates will get their stats and touches in waves... so instead of 1 game, it will even out after like 6 or 7 games where everyone is getting involved. Maybe not in the same game, but after a few games the team can spread the ball around.
