Eghhh this place is a circle jerk. Complaining about things like injuries, assisted tackles and lighting effects in a demo...

If you are commenting about me.. I'm not ripping people for liking it. I wish I did. I am also not ripping anyone else about their opinion. I even helped a member try to get his demo to work that was freezing. I'm just giving my impressions and i think EA should be ashamed of themselves for the trash they have released this gen. This was once my all time favorite game and i haven't liked it in years.

Played four games. The game plays pretty good on All-Madden (way to easy on All-Pro), pass coverage and defense overall better than NCAA 14's. Madden 25 is a decent game, should be even better with the release build and some sliders.

My biggest problem with the gameplay is the lack of animations, it's 2013 and we still see the same old catch and tackle animations over and over and over again makes the game get very predictable and boring real fast! And whoever said the commentary is good in this game is a damn lie! I'm not excited for this game (current gen Madden 25) but I am looking forward to the next-gen version, I really want to see WAY more catch and tackle animations, better a.i., and more realistic fluid movement is what I will be looking for in the next-gen version.

They need a brand new movement/tackling/physics/collision engine.

So depressing.
I watched next gen AP running the ball footage and it looked even more atrocious then current gen. Looked even more hyper speed and unnatural. There was one tackle where AP leveled the guy but still shot back 5 yards!! LOL

mini first impressions

Pros-
- improved cut scenes before and during the game
- improved sidelines
- improved replays
- slightly improved announcers
- slightly improved AI
- improved TD celebrations

Cons
-Overpowered user running backs (might be overpowered to show off new moves)
-too many close ups
-close ups are way too close

I echo everything you just said i grew up on madden playing day in and day out i remember when defense mattered when ray lewis was on the cover. When you could actually shut people down.

Hows the D-Line? Is it useless again?
