LOL!! Pretty much sums it up. I had ZERO expectations for the game also. I haven't liked any Madden this gen except for 10. I REALLY wanted to like this game as I'm not going next gen and was hoping for a last football fix. I knew within 5 mins of playing it was not for me.

Got through half a game on all madden with custom sliders, dropped sliders way down and still got handled. 5 picks with cap the D was smothering me except on 10 yard comebacks, Bowsers.
Had tough time running but did almost run a kick off back by holding LT then releasing about a second before contact and hit RT for good speed burst to bust right through.
Good D I Thought, I did move the injury sliders up to 75 had about 6 injurys, only one major lamicheal james broken toe which showed him going back to locker room. One nice thing was the sideline reporter always talked about the injury and who it happened to. Phil simms still annoying as heck with it looks like a upper body injury. Blah.
Graphics look about the same, the game fluidness is better.
Maxed out penalty sliders had holding, facemask, roughing the passer called and someone touched gore illegally, I hope it was not in his no no area, lol.
All and all not bad demo but not blown away, will play more.
PS. Had no problems with trainer, not sure what people are talking about on that. I passed it.

Damn after playing the demo im not exited for m25 anymore at all.
The only positive I can think of is presentation but thats get repetitive after a few game anyway.
Not liking the new camara way to far of. Dont understand why we can only use tge new camara in the demo.
D-line in under powered and the O-line over powered.
You're d lineman still stick to the o lineman even when you have a open path to the qb at the last moment you defender will get pulled to the o lineman and stick like glue.
I see way to many broken tackles and many times a good tackle will still give up 5 or more yards.

Least the sidelines are a bit more lively. I've always hated the standing motionless manikins on the madden games over the years.

Just finished two full games... Lost to the Seahawks and beat the Ravens...Both were really good games. For those of you saying that is plays just like 13 c'mon man... really? To me it plays nothing like 13... I could barely play 13... The cut backs in the running game along with the IE upgrade are amazing... It's not perfect but the fun factor is back for me and Madden. I can only imagine hoe great next gen Madden will play if I am enjoying this game. Each to their own I guess...

I don't like the Madden engine. I never have, and the whole "infinity" thing has proven to be a let down with this demo. Yes, there are different expressions of tackling, but there are still numerous occasions where a second defender engaging in a tackle is just too much for this engine to handle. The biggest issue is how a second defender will literally dive through a tackle with zero physics being shown. You can call it "pro-tak" or "infinity 2.0" but this is still the traditional Madden, twitchy animation engine that just can't nail down proper physics in blocking, running and tackling.

That's not to say you can't enjoy the game, but to me this game's engine is just bad for football. You will see some great looking animations only to be interrupted with some quick snatch-back tackle or quirky jolt that makes everything so hard on the eyes. Not only that, but the ball physics are just off. The ball tends to fluctuate in weight, with some passes deflecting onto the sidelines, looking like a wiffle ball. Other times it seems like dead weight.

The demo is enough for me to make a decision on a purchase. It's kind of a no-brainer to me. This series has been a huge letdown this generation. From the very first "target" video we saw, to the various cute names given to a very tired engine, the game just lacks appeal. From the very start of the demo you just know it's the same old Madden experience. Putting another $60 into this title is just not happening for me.
Perfect example of a great demo impression. Doesn't like the game but keeps it classy. What OS is all about. New members take note

After another game, the defense side of the ball received ZERO attention! I feel like the "run modifier" is a cheap way for the player to actually move the way he should without having to hit another button to activate it. It's like Tony Hawk 25 or that passing cone gimmick. I loved every Madden last gen except 06.

8 years on the 360/PS3 and they still can't get the movement to look fluid.

I wish they weren't bringing the Infinity engine over to Next-Gen. Ignite is obviously just a graphical facelift.

They need a brand new movement/tackling/physics/collision engine.

So depressing.
