I think I've found that balance so I'm happy. I'll be buying this one on release day. Every one is always entitled to their own opinion but I honestly feel like a lot of the complaints that I'm reading on here are from people that just expect TOO much from a game. I'm having fun and that's what it's all about.

Hey Mebby, I would like to try your sliders if you don't mind. I just want a realistic experience. Qba ive had on 10 is way too accurate on Heisman.

I am still holding onto hope of a day one patch but I her ya loud an clear on just leaving this on the shelf. Funny how I was chastized to no end by just telling people to hold off buying for a few weeks and overcome the nostalgia of a "new 2014 game". I get that it's just a game but for many of us (me included) I get my rocks off gettin excited seeing an awesome game on sat and then want to get just as excited replicating said game on my dynasty. I just don't get that with EA and it hurts. I play this game and between all the issues that have been present since literally 2008 it's asanine. I enjoy the new engine, the jukes, and recruiting...but these other issues and graphics and oh so bad player models stand out like a nasty herpe when the game is playing. I still don't understand why NCAA can't just take madden and strip it down to models and code and plug in so to speak NCAA. I love the graphics in madden and the models are top notch. I just got into nba2k13 a few days ago and it's just jaw dropping how great that game is. Just gets me every time how something that "should" be good ends up a mess due to bad leadership and employee laziness.

EA at its finest!! Sad thing is, they wont fix Zone Defense haven't for years!!! This glitch will be patched if we are lucky by mid August.

Something like that was seen but they said screw it, throw it out there we are the only game in town and do it every year. Really sad how bad NCAA and Madden are compared to the Show and 2K!!!!

I mean I'm 38 years old and its the same story every year. So close to being a great game gameplay wise but the Defense is not there!!!

Totally Agree!!! Horrific excuse for this day and age!!! I mean I'm so sick of trying to bend over backwards to make these football games play somewhat realistic.

I just can't enjoy the game if defense isn't fixed. No dline pressure and broken zone defense will keep this from getting purchased right away. If the impressions later show that it's fixed, then I'll get it. The early release was a huge letdown after all the great news. I'll be glad when next gen football gets here as this gen has taken all the fun out of video game football games.

all the same issues with the sim engine that existed 2 yrs ago when i last played ncaa still exist....some of them aren't that big a deal but there's one in particular that is crazy. I dunno if its because im using a created playbook, but i dont think it is, because ive seen it from the cpu as well, just not as bad.

basically ive simmed a number of games where 1 reciever catches every pass. i mean like 15 catches for 250 yards. one dude. this has happened like a dozen times. i had a game where my guy caught 15 for 256 and the cpu dude caught 17 for 277. LOL.

as far as the cpu ai goes, the zone coverage is pretty much horrible and one of the main reasons is that the cpu glitch where it changes to aggressive coverage constantly still exists!!! so the middle is wide open because the defenders are playing way too close to the line of scrimmage.
