I'm having a lot of fun with this game so far. Of course, there's some issues with the game. I think running the ball might be a little too easy. Nice to see the AI run the ball good this year. The blocking has improved. So far not been able to sack the qb that many times. I've only played 2 games on heisman level. I won and lost the second game. I think the coverage is a little better this year, but needs to be tightened up a little. Overall fun game to play.

If you didnt notice, this is the CPU ball carrier, not him.

GMSS, I think you said you are on 100 CPU RBA but what is your user tackling at?

At 80 RBA CPU and 25 tackling for user I don't see those happen often at all on AA

Changing gears:

I'm observing that slowest is by far the best way to go for coach progression

Difficulty: Heisman (O)/All-American (D)
Speed: Normal

Sliders:

QBA = 5/5
CPU Run Blocking = 60
HUM Rush Defense = 45
KOP = 40/45
FGA = 5/45

Florida (me) vs Toledo

Score: 23-20 (Overtime)
Passing: 20/27, 228 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT's (UF), 23/33, 214 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT
Running: 40 attempts, 149 yards, 2 TD's, 1 Fumble (UF), 34 attempts, 64 yards, 1 TD, 0 Fumbles

Notes:
  • Easily one of the best games I've ever played. I was down 10-0 at first, but slowly felt the momentum shift back in my favor. I was up 17-10 before Toledo put together a drive with a minute or two to go.
  • Each team had four sacks a piece. Most of theres were via their QB trying to scramble.
  • I was great defensively. A fluky pass at the end of the half for about 60 yards + OT boosted their passing numbers, but I thought I defended it well for the most part.
  • Turnover's almost cost me the game. I gave them the ball twice in my territory, both leading to scores.
  • The last play of the game was awesome. It was a pitch play from the 2 yardline to Kelvin Taylor. He lowered his shoulder and knocked the defender to the ground, and put his hand down and reached for the endzone to score.
  • I'm going to do my best to find a sweetspot for the CPU Offense. It's somewhere between Heisman and AA for me. Heisman is great for the running game, AA is great for the passing game.
  • The game is finally fun again. I found myself worrying about absolutely nothing outside of winning the game. Everything else looked fine.
I'll give these a whirl. I agree that staying close to default is the best route. Outside of QB ACC, game plays really really well right out of the box.

Who has the digital PS3 version because I want to compare it to my retail version.

The retail version still has the same problems/bugs as the demo, most noticeably hurry up play calling lag.

I have to give EA credit. They have cleaned up alot of the animations, the players dont appear to move so robotic anymore. However you will still see some herky-jerky movements. If they can clean that up, and clean up some of the sudden burst wheres guys kinda float forward really fast then movement will be tight.
