Still don't understand most of the plays in the Spread Teams' Playbooks. Half of Oregon's playbook is Urban Meyere's Florida Days. I just want the playbooks as realistic as possible. WHEN DOES OREGON RUN THE VEER OR SHOVEL OPTION ?!?! NEVER. Oregon runs IZR's, OZR's, Inside Zones (IZ's) and a few counters. They left one play that Oregon runs diligently and put it into VTech's Playbook which is the Buck Sweep Read !!!!!! Also, why doesn't Texas A&M have a QB Draw in EVERY FORMATION. Have you not seen Johnny Manziel's run plays ?? He got most of his yardage from designed Draws or QB Counters.

Wouldn't it be cool if you could carry over your coaches info. I hate starting over each year..........

Having said that. The more and more i play this demo the better it gets. I think this one is a winner

It really opens up a lot of different play variations. As of now, you can only motion one guy and after he is set you have to move him back to his original position if you want to motion somebody else.
I know what you're talking about here. It has been many many years since any EA football game allowed the user to shift or multiple motion, in an effort to curb cheezing I guess. Would add a ton of realism to be able to move your guys pre-snap the way you would be able to irl.

If it was a roundtable on the development cycle for this generation, his comments would have been perfectly reasonable and I'd totally agree with him.
Agreed. I'll go a step farther: if a random OS member posted Jayson's comments verbatim in the demo impressions thread, would they receive a vacation from the forums for trolling?

The writers are under the direction of their editors, not the moderation staff - it's entirely different.

Also, I can only say that unless the guy posted something like that OVER AND OVER again, I'd have let it go. Can't speak for other mods.

I like it, it's better than last year so far and that's just the demo. Hopefully EA will finish tweaking it, but it's worth my money.

Re: NCAA Football 14 Demo Impressions Roundtable

Finally, after about 8 years, Florida has white/ORANGE shoes!!!! Holy hell.

Corliss, actually a vast majority of Manziel's rushing yardage came from scrambles.

Oh, and I'd love for EA to have a Samoan hair option. Not the dreads hanging out the back of the helmet, but a froish option.
