I had a gamebreaker last night that might keep me from getting this game in early July. I was Michigan, my friend was Ohio state. I was on the OSU 40 yard line, threw up a bomb in the endzone, OSU intercepts the ball, out of bounds, and they give me a touchdown. My friend who was anti E.A. anyway, just said, ea being ea. That's a pretty bad glitch. Not saying it's common, but it did happen, very very sucky. This is a pretty glaring oversight ,and to me, unacceptable. This is just one glitch after 2 games. Sad. This is the PS3 demo. Not sure if 360 suffers same fate.

If it hasn't already been fixed on retail version, that' still a fixable issue. I understand it might affect your release day decision.

You'd think after all these years, things like that wouldn't get by the QA department..Again, that's a pretty glaring glitch...

Re: NCAA Football 14 Demo is Available Now, Post Impressions Here (360, PS3)

Played one game of the demo on heisman this morning, certainly an improvement and just overall feels better and more polished than the past couple years. Went from a strong no-purchase (trying to hold out on buying sports games every year) to now being something that is going to test my willpower.

Saw a couple things i didn't like:

1) CPU clock management. 30 seconds to go in half, ball on their 20, they run a play and i stop it. They go no huddle back to the line, then start running out clock (makes sense). Except at the 2 second mark they snap the ball and run a read option that i blow up in the backfield. I hate seeing things like this, if i managed to strip the ball or something and return for a td it would feel cheap since this play never should have been run in the first place.

2) Late game, CPU trailing by 7 with ball and all timeouts. 1st down they pass to the RB in the backfield and it gets blown up for a 5 yard loss. They no huddle to line and run the exact same play with the same target, throw to RB but this time he drops it.

When they pop up, these things really hurt gameplay value for me since i don't play online and generally play vs CPU only. I'll have to see how often this pops up during more games and in the impressions threads that will be around on release day. Aside from these two issues though, there are definetly some big steps that have been made here that make the game just all around more fun to play this year in my opinion

I just had a game as Oregon on default heisman. The Impact RE for Oregon just dominated the game. I was controlling him and he was just bull rushing the LT into oblivion. He only had one sack and numerous unrecorded half sacks. Johnny Football was clearly rattled. I haven't seen domination from the RE position since ps2! Final score 14-3. It looks like recruiting a stud end might finally be worth it and fun!

It's a demo.. So it's clearly earlier in the dev cycle.

Hell it even happens to the best of them. The Show, widely considered the gold standard of sports games had a bug at one time, that counted the run, if a runner crossed the plate before the final out of the inning was made.

Thats great to hear. I always try to recruit a dominant dline but it seems like its always pointless. Hopefully i can get a dline that can control the los

Has anyone seen an assisted tackle registered in the stats? I wonder if that's an IE issue they just can't fix yet.
