Im saying odds are something bad will pop up and we all will be waiting 2-3 months for a patch to fix it. So even though the game feels great. With EA if looks to good to be true it probably is.
And how is that relevant to impressions of this demo?

This game is unplayable. Put it on Heisman, with user run blocking at 0, and CPU Rush Defense on 100, with blocking on Consevative and run READ-OPTION the WHOLE TIME. I GET A FIRST DOWN ON EVERY PLAY AGAINST ALABAMA!!!!! I enjoyed the game until I knew I could just do that the whole time, and why pick another play when the CPU CAN'T STOP IT?! This is on EA. Had to vent. I want to know what everyone else thinks about this.

i liked what i saw in terms of the foot planting. also, the new running moves look pretty good as well. graphics definitely look more detailed compared to last years game. i won't point out anything negative for now as hopefully it stays in the demo.

I dont understand how some of you are this good at this game. I play on Varsity and have fun. Granted I do tweak sliders to make the game more realistic. But in Varsity I am having even games. I havent lost yet, so today I may try AA.

Im really loving the game.

Re: NCAA Football 14 Demo is Available Now, Post Impressions Here (360, PS3)

I haven't played the demo in a few days, but I just played two games this morning and man, what a blast this game is.

I lost to Michigan and Oregon, but never felt like cheap losses. Michigan ran all over me. Its so nice to see running backs that know their *** from a hole in the ground. Oregon beat me to death with the option. While it got a little frustrating because I wasn't really able to stop it, it was still fun at least knowing this game won't be a cake walk this year. (I did force 2 FG's) And I was playing on Heisman.

Good new was I didn't see the DB glitch once, I got picked and had passes defended over the middle, so it wasn't money. Heisman is hard man!

I did see the so called screen glitch once. But the CPU had a bunch of 3rd downs and only called a screen once. So I don't know why so many people are saying it happens so often.

I also saw some great late game AI. CPU let the clock run down and played just like a human would. Although I did see something bad - and this was the first time it happened. Oregon kneeled the ball on 3rd and 2 and then punted on 4th down. Haven't seen this in all the games I've played.

I think some of this stuff will be ironed out for release.

I am having a lot of fun playing this demo. I dont know what i like more playing the games or the skills trainer. I like that its pretty playable right out of the box. I have yet to adjust sliders other than the speed sliders.

Re: NCAA Football 14 Demo is Available Now, Post Impressions Here (360, PS3)

I agree wholeheartedly with your sentiment! I've been playing AA for 12 years running now and I have around a 78% all-time winning percentage. I'm over 40, so my catlike reflexes aren't what they used to be, and unless there's a quantum shift in difficulty in some future iteration, I won't be moving to Heisman. AA gives me enough challenge, and when I start to become overpowering, I implement house rules that affect my recruiting.

You mentioned playing the game realistic. That's what I do also. I want realistic stats. I am a bit guilty of leaning on a few favored bread & butter plays, but if/when I do find an real expoit I don't let it ruin the game for me. I want challenge, but I dont't approach the game like I have to "beat" the game on hardest difficulty settings, at all costs.

I've only played 2 demo games thus far. I'm 1-1. Played as Mich both times, won the first 10-0, but then lost 17-6, but thoroughly enjoyed it.

CPU run game is looking healthy, and that makes me happy.
