Anyways, Infinity Engine 2 has really turned the gameplay from stale and repetitive to lively, exciting, and unpredictable. Truly a much better game all around.

First game I beat Texas A&M as Oregon 10-3. Then lost the next game to Ohio State as Michigan 14-10. Didn't feel cheated by anything at all.
I got the real game early

Re: NCAA Football 14 Demo is Available Now, Post Impressions Here (360, PS3)

I've played two games so far.. in which case both came down to the wire which i loved... first game i won and second game i lost.. loved the added songs and all the new lil things they have added.. i felt like i was playing sec football for once.. pretty awesome! some minor things but.. it is after all a demo and we should remember that.. we have no idea?! what build this is do we?! lot of stuff wasnt in the demo also.. which i look forward to seeing more of...

i really got excited playing this game.. and cant wait to play the full version.. quite fun FINALLY!

Loving big hit stick! seen a few players get really rocked and had me coming out of my chair yelling like you would in a real game! pretty awesome i say!

Maybe it was just me but the AI seemed a lot smarter.. i had to change up my strat. and it opened up my playbook for me which i really loved...was able to adjust and get some points on the bored.. thought that was awesome..

i cant wait to see how highlights are saved.. and if it makes a film for you?! of all the good plays?! still a lot to see.. i think.. looking forward to it and dynasty mode a lot!!!!

I'm going to have a hard time going back to '13 after playing this demo. July 9th cannot get here fast enough.

Pros

+ The field and the colors look awesome. Makes the game look as good as it ever has.
+ IE2 feels nice. Can't always see the IE2 when watching youtube footage, but I can certainly feel it. Running the ball feels better because of it.
+ Making that perfect read and timing the pitch on the shovel is one of the best feelings in a sports game. On par with that perfect bounce pass on a fastbreak dunk. Looks so sexy.
+The run blocking has a lot to do with that^^. It is greatly improved from what I can tell.
+ Coordinator Cam is AWESOME. I love that angle. Makes everything feel fresh to me.
+Some really good cutscene animations. Seeing my CB celebrate a pass defense makes the user swat feel even better.
+The chants are a good add. I'm also glad they don't do it too often. Seems to be a good balance.
+ Quick menus. Less loading times. Things to scroll through during loading screens.
+ More animations. Saw some really cool interception/reception animations.
+ Love that you can pick difficulties for offense and defense. Though I played on All American for both and felt the game played about right even without sliders.
+ Hard cuts, footplanting, and jukes. Though it doesn't happen every time it should, and it happens more for ballcarriers than anyone else, I can def see that it's improved overall.

Cons

- Still dislike the OL/DL interactions. I want to play as a disruptive and fierce pass rusher but I never feel like that no matter who I control.
- Pre-game video. The idea of a video montage before the game is good, but seeing highlights of a game yet to be played ruins it. The lack of commentary also hurts it.
- Commentary is so friggin boring. It's painfully bad and stale at this point in the series. Please overhaul this EA.
-The legacy ugly animations are still there. So even when I see an awesome unpredictable tackle, it's usually followed up by 3 or 4 ugly and funny looking ones.
- The crowd is still bad. Very disappointing because the atmosphere otherwise is really appealing to me.
-The stat overlays were a bit vanilla, though I'm willing to see how they are during a dynasty game before I completely say I'm disappointing in them.
-Stamina Bar? Unless I just need more time with it over a longer game, I didn't notice what the stamina bar was actually doing.
-The accelerator button seems like turbo with fluff added to it's concept. Maybe I need to see it playing out over longer periods though.
- - -Hate, Hate, Hate, Hate, HATE the touchdown cut-scenes. It ruins the touchdowns when you score and immediately go to a screen that shows the name and number of the player that scored, and then to a cutscene. That screen is the ultimate immersion breaker because no touchdown EVER in real life cuts away like that. The excitement of the score is lost when you don't allow a real time celebration to play out and instead cut to a boring screen for 2-3 seconds before returning to the field. That design decision hurts my feelings because I really wish there wasn't something that I really hate. I'm enjoying so many other things. Easily the addition I hate the most.

Overall I enjoyed the demo. Played 3 games and spent a good hour practicing the triple option and read option in the practice mode. First time in a long time I've been able to say that I enjoyed a EA football demo.

I played one game earlier tonight and the game actually feels nice...yeah there are some quirks, but it definitely feels like an improvement.

Keep in mind, I bought NCAA 12, downloaded the NCAA 13 demo last but didn't buy it, so pretty much I can feel a huge difference going from NCAA 12 to NCAA 14.

One thing I really love is that players no longer turn on a dime

I've read some of this thread mostly a lot of praise. But i have to ask, is this just the usual demo hype playing the game for the first time, or is this seriously an incredible game. (People's impressions seriously suggest this)
