They will screw is up in the next-gen too but atleast you wont have to wait 8-9yrs for a new gen this time! I bet its only 3-5yrs on the next-gen and less than that on the next next-gen!! We are living in the best time possible! Life may never be as good as it is right now but its too bad we dont have a killer NFL football game to play??

Well it looks like Madden.

IDK, I'm sure the kids will think this game is awesome but I'm not feeling it at all. I don't even have the desire to complain or critique anymore. I'll wait n see if they deliver a brand new game on the new systems or if the license expires. Stale doesn't begin to describe the look and feel of current Madden for me right now.

Watching it again it is still so damn fast. I'd like to know if this is an actually in game speed or sped up for promotional purposes.

Still cannot believe EA used the term "combos" to market a football game and they weren't talking about combo blocking.

I do see blockers actively trying to get DOWNFIELD to block instead of running behind the play so that's good.

UGH the combos are so unrealistic lol sorry to harp on it. Juke right, spin move left, juke right again make 9 defenders miss.

Back juke looks awkward but I'm glad they added it back in. At 1:07 I believe, Ray Rice make a back juke with a defender running right at his chest and the defender some how gets juked....wtf

NFL defenders dont freeze like that. EA and their gimmicks. Just start with the basics and get the physics of the offensive and defensive lines right. Football is a game of matchups and numbers not juke combos and spin moves.

I mean despite all the flaws I see I still do think the game will be fun to play. How long it will be fun to play is the question. IMO, every Madden is fun the first day or two. Doesn't look realistic, but does look like it might provide some fun.

As a defensive minded player, coach, and just person overall madden hasn't been fun since last gen.

THIS! I really want some AI competition this year and have them take some really good running backs and demonstrate some really good runs.
