I do not feel that way at all, sure Madden 06 was, but I remember the first iteration of Madden on PS2 (2001?) was AMAZING for its time.

I think Madden 06' and this last generation of consoles was more of an anomaly then an industry standard.

My .02 cents.
Read both of your comments and I'm with you all the way, couldn't agree more. I been telling that they can't have the same situation as Madden 06 when they drop on the new consoles, I tell them all the time the reason I bought a 360 was because of that trailer. I will never forget that, my who quest for simulation stems from that situation. I might make a video about that actually. Good comments man!

There's an art team and there's a game play team. So just because they add different hair styles doesn't necessarily mean that they took any dev time from the game play team to add them. However, I do agree that in the grand scheme long hair styles are far down on the priority list. Personally though, I would like to see them added.

I just hope they don't come out with NCAA Football 14 or Madden 25 on the new consoles this year. Most people will be playing on Xbox360 and PS3 anyway so why rush out a next-gen game when everybody is playing on the old consoles. They couldn't of had too much time to work on the next-gen games if they have been working on these versions (unless they purposely held out on the current gen versions to make time for the next-gen versions.)

They need to take the extra time and really make the next-gen version amazing like it was in 2001. Wait til next year when the next-gen console customer base is bigger instead of being greedy wanting every little penny they can get. And if they did come out with the next-gen games this year, do you really think they will make it so good that people wouldn't want to buy the current version which they make the most money from now? probably not. So I don't see how coming out with the next-gen football games will benefit us in anyway.

I don't quite understand this sentiment, considering that even if they waited until next year to release EA football games for the new consoles, they would also still be releasing for these current consoles too. So I don't see that much difference in doing that now or later, either way more people will still likely have the current consoles than the newer ones.

I would rather they go ahead and launch EA football games with the new consoles so they can get the kinks worked out this year. There is only so much they can catch in house, releasing to the general public a lot more things can be discovered and pointed out. I don't mind being a guinea pig for EA football on new consoles, so I can finally get the chance to play different football games than this gen.

I would think they would put more effort towards the next-gen NCAA Football while slightly improving/putting less time and effort towards this current gen one while slowly making it obsolete in a few years. EA knows the bugs, they don't need us to test them out, unless its online. An extra year will give them time to fix more of them.

They still need to lay a solid foundation to transition into NG, don't you agree?
