The greatest overall sports simulation ever made to date. There have been other great games that have done some things really well but nothing as complete a game as NBA 2K13.

I wish they would let you edit rotations for online games, playing with 3 guards and 87 bigs just doesn't cut it

I just don't understand why 2k gets rid of aspects of the game that worked/people liked.

1. Player introductions before games.
2. Player sweat.
3. Manual save.
4. SLIDER share....this one to me is HUGE!

Not digging the ghetto looking menus either. Just looks cheesy.

The gameplay once I get the right sliders will be great though. Looking forward to the court patches too!

for me it would rank 2nd, for best basketball simulation. The first would be CH2k8.
So far, IveI only played association, so I cant comment on all the other modes.
but as far as on court gameplay, yup there is no denying that the 2k team knocked it out the park. As usual, Its all about learning the gameplay mechanics and all the oncourt features that are available. Once you do this, the game really then becomes a thing of beauty, close to a master piece.

Why can't ppl have an opinion without speculation of "you've been paid to say this," or "you're a Fan boy!" ??
I don't understand it.

Anyways with that said, 2K is absolutely awesome at attention to details in their sports titles. Real recognize real and 2K recognizes the game of basketball and football, tennis too (TopSpin 4 is awesome). Is it perfect...No. Is it the greatest thing next to going outside and playing ball...Yes. Mission accomplished.

You have to use a controller to play defense...maybe that will help.

The game is awesome. Anyone can nitpick , but there is not a sports game on the market that offers a better overall experience than 2k13. I don't really get all the whining about the defense, either. It is difficult to defend, that I'll concede, but if you take time to learn the game then the defense becomes rewarding. Same with the rebounding, it just takes a lot of focus to switch guys EVERY time a shot goes up and box your man out. Sure there are funny bounces here and there, but if I can rebound effectively in this game, anyone can. Best sports game ever.....sorry PES (i'll still play you later).
