On subject of CPU play calling in connection with my previous post that where the CPU team, the Ravens, down by 7 points, 6-13, and the ball on their ~48 yard line, ran 2 times in a row with ~:11 seconds left in the game, and lost....


I just ran another CPU game, Packers v Vikings....Packers make it down to the Viking 1 yard line, the Pack is down 7-14, and at the running of the play there is 2:06 left in the game and it is 4th and goal from the 1....The Packers actually go for it on 4th, a run play up the middle and score to tie the game, after the xtra point....(this would be good logic) Though, I might expect the PAck to throw considering their run game, but maybe they wanted to fool the Defense? lol

So I guess the logic (play calling) isn't broken necessarily, but inconsistent and illogical at times? Random?

I'm sorry if this has already asked, but is there a way now to change your playbook at any point during or after the season? I'm currently running with the Giants defensive playbook and want to switch to a more hybrid playbook. I know I can change it before games, but I would like it to be permanently changed for the sim games. Is this possible?

I would not call the Patriots a Pass happy team.... Maybe the AI/CPU is not as bad as some may believe, just their impressions of what teams are doing might be a little off? Just offering a possibility....

Good point. I've only been using the Packers as a CPU team and their playcalling is as follows:

We're not even close to seeing that right now. Hopefully, custom playbooks during CCM online edit with the 2nd controller should help but not seeing it right now...

What are you seeing exactly?

By "conservative" do you mean toned down?

Because the sim engine was running waaaay too many playes per game that were skewing all the stats?

Has the stat engine been improved?

If I already have an offline CCM going, do I have to restart it for the sliders to take effect?
