Didn't the team scrap assets from Live 10 for Live 13? Why is everyone surprised then that it looks like Live 10?

They didn't start from scratch people, no budget for that.

No they scrapped it from Elite 11.....thats why people are complaining it looks like Elite....

They shouldve started with Live 10 as a base, its only logical as it was their best Live to date. Nope, not EA. They wanted a challenge, lets give it to the hockey guy and let the basketball guru (Mike Wang) go....Well turns out Hockey guys doesnt havea clue how basketball is played, lets send it over to the guys who make Madden....and yet we wonder why this looks like dog sh1t

i think they need to smoothin out the gameplay, fix defending bugs, change player models, and add different jumpshots

Doesn't sound real but thats exactly what happens when the entire Miami team turns around and goes back down court before Battier even shoots.
Signature JaVale McGee Animations.

Maybe it's JaVale on the cover and that's why they haven't released one yet, because he keeps forgetting to go to the photo shoot.

Im happy that we have a fantastic game left but it is disappointing that there is literally no choice. Honestly the demos do enough to keep basketball fresh for me. I could try out all the games and genuinely choose which one I liked and would eventually buy.
NOTE: I agree 100% that competition is great and needed for every market, every genre, every product. But, how many of you folks bemoaning the lack of competition actually support each competitive product, regardless of quality, for competition's sake? These companies have to pay salaries and for resources. We have a case where one title clearly outclassed the other - and therefore - outsold that other title. I'm sure that at some point, the loser gets tired of losing money and bails. If competition is so much in demand, why didn't people buy PES? Why didn't they buy NHL 2K? Are they willing to continue to buy the inferior title just to foster the competition? I'm sure many of you guys do. The question is - will enough people do it? I think that question has already been answered with the titles I mentioned. So, sadly, that makes this discussion pointless.

There's still time? Huh? The games need to be into MS and Sony at least a month before street date dude. And how do you "fix" animations? In my opinion, I think they've been "fixed" quite a bit. Possibly to a detriment. Any more "fixing" and you won't know what you're going to get. Either you like the animations or you don't. They won't change unless they are replaced. And that's a LOT of replacing you're talking about it. I find it interesting that you feel animations are the only issue. Or at least, the only key issue.
