Don't get me wrong man, I wish they'd get it together...we've gone from 6 basketball titles in a year to just 1, and I believe us basketball fans have gotten the shortest end of the stick this gen, but all of this start over and redo it stuff makes the company unstable

I wonder if EASports was one of the first companies to release games every year. That would be interesting to know. I really never felt sorry when I always heard someone say "we have a short dev cycle"

They need to change the player Models, they are ugly, i'M SORRY to insult someones hard work but , EA just needs to re-do the graphics. The ball handling is not good IMO, you can't even drive to get to the cup. Will not buy, but maybe 14? Make the models Bigger EA.

This is the worst part about it....even if half of them were below averge at least every demographic had a choice. Live fans could play Live, 2k fans could play 2k, Street fans could enjoy street, Sony's terrible NBA game could be played by those that thought 1080p on the box made it a good game lol

Im happy that we have a fantastic game left but it is disappointing that there is literally no choice. Honestly the demos do enough to keep basketball fresh for me. I could try out all the games and genuinely choose which one I liked and would eventually buy.

Claiming "fan made" would have gone over a lot better.

Looks like this development team has problems that go much deeper than just a bad game. Here's to hoping for huge leaps and bounds over the next couple of months.
Its not just that if you look at the Live 13 footage, you can see Battier run up the court exactly as Garnett runs up the court in hard8times Elite 11 demo vid. Its the exact same "old man/light jog" run up the court.

See Garnett run from 1:04-1:07 & 1:59-2:03 in the hard8times vid,

compared to when Battier runs in this vid at 3:46-3:49 & 4:25-4:30

It's like a mix of Elite 11 run cycles, with Live 10 run cycles. Theres quite a bit of similarities, so when people say built from ground up, its all hogwash. this vid to too far passed a pre alpha stage, I should know Ive done EA basketball QA..
Not only that, I noticed run cycle tendencies going far back as Live 2001 with Garnett on the cover. Im looking for vids now to show you exactly what I mean. I will edit this post to keep things together when I find the vids etc.

EA would not release a game if it was in that state just for money. I just dont see how this will be the final product. The animations obviously aren't finished and need work based from that vid. Thankfully there is time. If they fix it.. all is well in my mind. Let's see what the finished product has to offer and let go of the past.

It's not just basketball. We have essentially 1 game for every sport, and some that have been taken from entirely (NCAA Basketball and Baseball)

The sliding going on is way out of control. You put that with the same set animation where it looks like the defenders are hugging a barrel and hardly moving their arms, and it literally looks like they are being controlled by a mouse.

Look at how they move. it seriously looks like they are being clicked on with a mouse and then dragged and dropped to position. It's actually similar to how the QB sometimes moves in Madden.
