so i guess no one remembers that it took years for the 2k series to reach the height that it has today, no one remembers when nba 2k was the inferior title, no one remembers that nba 2k had the espn license and did didley squat with it for years. oh they take the right stick and put a dribble move on it and all of a sudden 2k is a god...? n.... please i play 2k often and til this day i see a bunch of ish that needs fixing, passing, online, shotclock cheese, jersey colors, point guards ending games with 6 blocked shot 4 by the chest alone, psychic steals and intercepts, super long foul continuations, dead crowds, repetitve commentary, irrelevent commentary, poor spacing, bad a.i. (teammate). THE LIST GOES ON! IMO, live 13 has a decent foundation for future iterations of the series, the video is probably from an earlier build or maybe not, but from what i saw, it looked decent. there was player differential in terms of body build and speed/quickness, passing seemed solid, and the likenesses of the players looked good. its by no means perfect but it is a good start coming from scratch. to be clear im not a fanboy of either series just the sport of basketball itself and from what i saw i liked... troll on that f.....ers

I've never considered NBA 2K to be an inferior product even while being a huge fan of NBA Live. NBA Live's problems are a lot more major in prohibiting a simulation basketball experience. The way the game has played just isn't acceptable in this generation if EA has indeed been aiming for a simulation experience. EA had a great foundation to build off of with NBA Live 10 but it was scrapped unnecessarily. Ever since then it's even more apparent that EA has no clue how to provide a realistic basketball experience. I wouldn't have a problem with that dated engine Live is using if those jerky animations didn't come with it. Players don't move like human basketball players and that's a big problem. All the players look capable of dribbling at the same skill level which is another problem. I had hopes for this franchise to make some kind of comeback but not after this. NBA Live 13 isn't just "by no means perfect", it's downright awful and an insult to the game of basketball.
