I nor the CPU can get more than about 3 YPC.

It has been the most frustrating thing for me with Madden over the years. I can't run and the CPU can't run on me.

And because of that it just becomes a passing game. I know the NFL is all about the passing now, but good backs should be getting more than 3 YPC.

So if anyone has been able to get more rushing yards (on both ends of the field), what have you done to get that? Sliders?

Like I said earlier in the thread, on default All-Maddeb I can get successful runs with stretch plays, power o's, and I've also had success with HB Base out of the shotgun.

Don´t use auto turbo.
Hit the turbo when you hit he hole, not before.

people need to watch the madden 13 retail videos on youtube. the falling over and wierd animations after plays have been limited. looks a heck of a lot better. plus therea vids of gameplay with the new zoomed in camera angle and it looks amazing.

For running. But it sucks for passing plays.

I found running with Gore inside the tackles is a hit or miss, just like the NFL. I have adjusted sliders, too.

Maybe I'm naive, but this exactly what I love about this demo, no one is going to break or have a perfect lane all gm long. That's why rushing avgs are what they are now, I'm sure the percentage of running thru the middle for.more that 5yds a carry without falling is very, very small.

Some of these complaints about the run game seem to me like its gonna do more damage than any good. It plays out Mich more better than it ever has for madden and I'm cool with that.

While that may have been limited, it looks to me like IE has been scaled back to much. The tackles look like madden 12 and there is no upradictability. and the players have no ragdoll effect to them.....Looks bad if you ask me.

My biggest complain with Madden 13 so far is the cheap Cpu play late in each half. I was playing on All Pro leading 10-7 with under 2 minutes to go facing a 3rd & 7. I tried a quick slant play and my QB was drilled by two Giants D linemen who seemingly came through untouched. The play resulted in a fumble which was run in for a TD.My O line controlled three quarters, but couldn't contain Tuck especially in th 4th. The exact opposite for my D line, which had sacked Eli 5 times through 3, didn't touch him in the 4th.
