It has been the most frustrating thing for me with Madden over the years. I can't run and the CPU can't run on me.

And because of that it just becomes a passing game. I know the NFL is all about the passing now, but good backs should be getting more than 3 YPC.

So if anyone has been able to get more rushing yards (on both ends of the field), what have you done to get that? Sliders?

Btw, this is on All-Pro.
Well, running up the middle seems broken to me (impossible because of the blocking), so your best bet is a strong side counter and hope the blocking A.I doesn't screw up badly.

Guh. This is what concerns me. I can get better. Maybe see holes better.

But what about the CPU?

I guess I'll try bumping the run sliders next demo and see what happens.

I was having problems running in NCAA 13 before the last patch. It maybe something the madden team is aware of already and will be fixed in the retail version. This will be first madden I have purchased in over 10 years.

I found the constant falling down of players after the whistle to be quite funny. But to be honest, I'm not digging the new engine so far.

The series legacy issues remain a major obstacle to the enjoyment I get out of the game....

The Madden Fatigue has finally even overcome the football nut inside me

I wont rehash the Legacy issues, the OS Roundtable did a good job detailing my gripes with them.
http://www.operationsports.com/featu...ns-roundtable/
They are going to have to be fixed for me to truly get pumped about the series again

This game is not a good sim of the sport yet, We just have to pray this new team is committed to making it be one....And wants to do more then just stick to the Madden version of football

With that said there are some things I'll be looking forward to seeing grow from here

*Infinity If you can withstand the Legacy issues then this tech provides a legitimate ooh and awe aspect of the game...Yes theres some wonkiness but it looks like they've begun the process of really making this a special treat for the series moving forward....because with time its only going to get better and should be looking really good for 14...One of my fav moments from the demo was when Bradshaw was tackled at the Goal line and there was the moment of "Does he have enough to get in"... Bradshaw was laying on One defender who had had his legs wrapped up and then his torso slowly slid/fell forward enough off the other defender for the ball to barely cross the plane

*Revamped Catching/Passing...Provided they don't take away sig throwing motions...This series desperately needs just a massive influx of animations like what was done here.... Im hoping the same(Add about 500 new Animations) can be done for OL/DL in 14

*Presentation
By in large I like what they did with the CBS style feel and the audio is at least solid this year with it hopefully being truly elite in 14

The cleaned up field also look great

But please for the love of God stick to what the Pro Broadcasters showed you EA!!!!! Don't try an alter/ add your own artistic feel to the camera cuts
Stick to the basics of what everybody sees when they turn on their tubes to watch their pig skin

You HAVE to hit the hole and hit it at the right time. I'm hitting about 4-5 up the middle on retail right now. It's all about timing.

I've been successful running the ball actually. I do alot of draw plays. I even managed to break a 89 yard TD with Bradshaw on a Power O to the right side. (using kingrealistic's madden 13 sliders). Although I do get stuffed sometimes, I still manage to get realized run averages.

I hope retail is better because in the demo there is no hole to hit. CPU defenders shed their blockers as soon as you hit the line. Running stretch and offtackle plays is the only way to get positive rush yards.
