How am I trolling. If I created threads complaining at EA I would get banned, and if I ask people who take questions, I get criticized some times. When I do say stuff that hasn't been said, because you guys don't agree with it some of you say all I'm doing is bitching, trolling, complaining, or whining on threads that usually either allow us to give our own opinions or threads that are meant to have questions asked.

You know what screw it. I don't want to get banned. So yes, sorry being a dumb trolling b*tch.

ALSO it's seems hard to draft a bust since you or the CPU determines who gets progression.

For progression, and overall more immersion, like I said along time ago, I wish they incorporated special traits/player personality/emotions/feelings, etc. For example, this player has a lot of talent but VERY LOW worth ethic, very high confidence, and overall low determination, etc which will result in him being a bust.
I get what you are saying but I don't think it works that way for players, lol, I think you are thinking about coaches. If, using your example, Flacco didn't meet his full goal of 4000 yards, he still gains XP, just not the max he could have but he could possibly regress in some area(s) due to not meeting his season goal.

That's my point, that the system is by no means terrible and it seems like a good addition for those that want more direct control over progression. I just wish they had offered an option to "hide" this system under the hood, which is the same option I wanted for the Potential rating.

I don't think the system is horrible.

EDIT: Kinda feels like there is a lack of innovation.
I disagree with this because early in their careers QBs can adjust better to new offenses but seasoned vets, not so much. Payton Manning wouldn't just go to any team and run any offense. The Broncos have tailored that offense around Manning, not the other way around and teams are even now starting to do that for Rookie QBs too. SO an elite QB would either go to some place that had a system they were familiar with or a team that would custom their system for that QB.

A system where QBs were getting "fired"/cut just for not meeting lofty yardage goals, would be though, lol. Don't you agree?

Yeah I do. I thought that you had to get the toughest goals completed to get xp and avoid the CPU from cutting you or releasing you.

Is this confirmed? Do we know that this is the case? Or is this speculation? If this is the case, then yes thats a bit crazy. But I don't think this is the case.

You get XP for your players after every game. So I think the Season Goals are just huge XP boosts. I could be wrong, this IS speculation. But I KNOW that you get XP after every game. So if you throw for 400 yards you get more xp than if you throw for 100 yards. And you can apply the XP every week if you'd like.

player and coach goals are tiered. starting at level 1. if you complete enough to get to level 2 you keep your job as a coach and don't regress as a player(unless they are aging) and you get some xp. if you dont get to level 2 the player(unless they are young) regress and as a coach you can lose your job. so a coach for New England can have a goal of "Get to Superbowl" now you start at level 1 of that goal and level 2 could be something like making the playoffs. level 3 could be win division and level 4 being getting to the superbowl. for a player they would be similar take your flacco example: flacco's goal 4000 yards passing. well level 2 would be something like 2500, level 3 3500, and level 4 would be 4000. as long as you at least get to level 2 there aren't any negatives. and the farther you go up the tiers the more xp you get.
