You get XP for your players after every game. So I think the Season Goals are just huge XP boosts. I could be wrong, this IS speculation. But I KNOW that you get XP after every game. So if you throw for 400 yards you get more xp than if you throw for 100 yards. And you can apply the XP every week if you'd like.
Yeah it's confirmed that IS NOT the way the system works, lol. I was just responding to Straw that IF his hypothetical were true, which it IS NOT then that would be a terrible system, imo.

Sorry since this is probably the wrong place to ask but what if you get hurt and don't get a chance to reach any tier over level 2 or enough xp?

well injured players would regress some. but players aren't let go based on meeting goals, i dont think(they just don't get xp or they regress). players are cut based on ratings like they always have been.

Straw you do understand that not reaching goals does not mean players get instantly cut, right? So if a player didn't reach "level 2" goals, for whatever reason, including injury, then I would think they wouldn't get level 2 XP. I think you also have asked about Coaches getting fired if players get injured and again, I don't see the circumstances behind a Coach not reaching their goals having any bearing on the fact. In the real NFL most Owners/GMs don't care either, lol.

I just forgot about ratings playing a factor in releasing like moneal2001 said, since xp and goals play a large part.

Yes, completely. While I don't do a whole lot of editing mid-franchise, I do like to use updated rosters and draft classes (from here at OS ) and occasionally update breakout studs. But the big killer for me is not being able to play ANY OTHER GAME. Throughout a season I enjoy playing around with different teams' personnel and playbooks, and I usually play at least one playoff game that doesn't involve my team, for much the same reason.

Looks like I'll be sticking with '12 and the fubar rookie player models. Or just stay with NCAA. They haven't messed that up like this yet.

I find it amusing that the OS icon for NAU is 20 years (and three rebrands!) out of date.
