Even though I agree with Bucky60 and would prefer a progression system based on coach/coordinator training players, I think I have a solid compromise, using the current XP format.

If player goals and XP could at least be hidden for Users/Leagues that decide to use auto progression/XP allocation, that would be better, imo. I was just sitting here thinking that knowing each players goals and XP is cool if you want to manually handle their progression or if you are only playing as that ONE player/Superstar Mode but if I am the Coach, I should have the option to only see those things for that Coach.

I most likely will not be looking at any of that stuff for players because I don't want to know or get caught up in trying to get a certain player or players their quota but knowing that those things effect progression will realistically motivate me to get project players playing time, when able, even if hidden. I just wish I had an option to completely hide those things from everyone in my league because that would result in a more realistic experience, in the sense that no User would know the exact programmed requirements for maxing out each players XP potential. What they have essentially done is replaced Potential with a XP system but still have neglected to offer a "hide" option fo those that don't want to know, lol.

For me my problem is the goals. They can lead to some unrealistic results (for example, joe flacco doesn't meet a first round goal of throwing 4000 passing yards, CPU releases him WTF?)IMO if I'm correct about how it works.

ALSO it's seems hard to draft a bust since you or the CPU determines who gets progression.

For progression, and overall more immersion, like I said along time ago, I wish they incorporated special traits/player personality/emotions/feelings, etc. For example, this player has a lot of talent but VERY LOW worth ethic, very high confidence, and overall low determination, etc which will result in him being a bust.

Doubt the goals will be as bad as the hypotheticals you insist on bringing up in every thread.

Good point. I've been wondering about this. To me it seems the only way to draft a bust would be for him to have absolutely terrible ratings that would take forever to progress. Like a QB with a 42 deep ball accuracy.

a bust would be a guy that didn't fit you system at all, strong arm qb where you run a west coast offense. players gain more xp the better they fit your system allowing them to progress faster than those that dont fit. also some players have a higher developmental trait(gaining more xp from goals). has anyone posted a scouting video yet? how hard or easy it is could be a huge factor in busts and gems.

You could of just said that I shouldn't say it in other threads too much.

You know what, I'm sorry for bringing up stupid suggestions to make the game authentic. I didn't know that you didn't like them-and that's me. I should have thought of that - and I don't know what's wrong with me and my stupid complaining and whining and overall idiocy. I need to stop being annoying.

Perhaps if you want to make such a difference instead of trolling every single madden thread, you could complain to the people who actually make the game. Everything that you constantly bring up has been hashed out for over a month now. It gets to the point that you have to realize that your concerns are noted and continuing to go on about it is neither constructive or needed. JMO

This concerns me. Some QB's like Rodgers, Brady, and Manning would be fantastic in every kind of offense no matter what they run. I'm worried that players will get pigeon-holed and I can't have an elite QB simply because my system doesn't like what they've been pigeon-holed to be.

EDIT: Kinda feels like there is a lack of innovation.
