I think this could be the best Madden in years. The physics do make for some ******** animations but I thought people thought of that when they were asking for physics. It needs a tuning but VERY playable!

I kinda agree with You both. I've seen everything in this game in a previous game...and actually better. Maybe I'm spoiled or my expectations for one of the largest video game franchises are far too high. The pinball tackling labeled as Real Time Physics doesn't really impress me after all. It just doesn't really feel right. Some pretty cool things happen like two offensive players can cancel out each others attempt at tackling an opponent. Seeing a player hit in the air and causing the targeted player to spin around is okay, I guess. But it's not ground breaking or "monumental" to me. The game is almost like two-hand touch in the sense that one touch by either a SINGLE defensive player or your teammate on offensive can end your progress. Running into the back of your lead block and falling forward is pretty weird in my book. Weird as in unacceptable. The gameplay feels largely the same as the past few iterations of Madden to me. Maybe it's me. Maybe I've been playing that "other" game too much recently. Maybe next year?

I really really think this game will be best played on Slow or Very Slow. I'm already making a habit of using very slow.

Seems like more of our PS3 Brothers here hate it, while XBOX seem to be excited. Strange.

I personally love the game. The passing is leaps and bounds ahead of last years, and that's not even playing with my team who passes 65% of the time.

This game is going to be so immersive with CC and I don't think half of you realize the impact this mode will have. I mean CPU trading with each other in Reg. season should be enough lol.

Another great thing i saw...rice caught the ball and got hit in the air and he shrugged it off and landed on his feet and kept running for about 4yards and got tackled

I was like "WOW!!!! Amazing"

NCAA has that, no greater feeling that that mixed with no one else around and a 10 yard jog to the endzone.

I will say I'm mixed on it. I say same ol madden, but there are new twists. Some moments make me go wow, other times I'm just bored out of my mind. I applaud them for laying a base for the game, even if its late in the series. I'll probably pass this year or wait until black Friday sales.

True. It looks unbelievably arcadish and unrealistic when playing it in the standard speed...
