I am glad that I can rush the passer with an OLB, but I dont want it overpowered for both User and CPU.

A few things I find better in Madden than in NCAA is that I can use the juke move more successfully and more successful in pass rushing from outside rushers. But with some tuning and sliders adjustments, it could be better

All in all, this is a video game and isn't real life. As much as we wish it were, it isn't and it will always have it's flaws.

However, I can't wait to play the demo
Overall review scores and impressions matter about as much as overall ratings in Madden. Read between the lines and pull out the nuggets that pertain to you and you can built a fairly decent idea of how you will like the game. I don't care about guys tripping after the play or the ability to give a guy a hand towel but if the game feels better than 12 and has improvements to physics combined with a head coach style franchise it sounds like they designed the game specifically for me. And despite not buying last year and not buying NCAA for the first time since bill Walsh I think I might be stopping by to pre-order this one on the way to the gym tonight

Madden to me just doesn't get the concept of being more defenders than then the offensive line can block...when you blitz, not only are all the rushers somehow getting picked up, your coverage suffers as well....it's a lose lose

I've hated the line concept since Madden 09, they've taken away the idea of a offensive lineman flat out getting beat by a defender

Much improved in those regards.
Was that with you controlling the DTs?

I know it was a problem with both CPU and User control, but I felt it was always much worse when Users were controlling them.

Still good to hear either way.

I meant as far as the playcall screen coming up awkwardly like it did in Madden 12. Doesn't pop up until you press a button this year SO FAR.

I can't and won't let them slide on the fact that there is no halftime commentary or game story. These guys can't honestly say that they watch the NFL closely with what they have delivered thus far.

The presentation is lacking. I give them a +1 With Simms and Nantz in the booth and the crowd swells, but it stops there. It's very easy to get bored when you don't have a complete NFL package, the faces on the players are lacking ( see Lynch) and outdated, and there is alot they just don't seem to feel they need to fix.

Infinity is fun, the game play is a blast, but I want an overall NFL package for my money. This is where Tiburon seems to fumble always. I am not gonna bash this game in any negative manner, but I am going to be constructive and say it's not all it should be at this stage of the series.

Only reason ive
Been reading all these demo impressions due to working the whole day an not being able to download the ps3 demo until tonight after i get off! I'm just saying the features that get the praise turns right round and get shot down, im pretty sure this madden will be a heck of
A game...im really excited to play it, but the people complaining leave the ones who want to enjoy it with a stale taste because of all the nagging...thats all im basically saying!
