Doesn't make much sense to me, but yes you can.

That's how silly that response is.
You can play football w/o these?

Silly to me is continually defending the redirection and removal of features. Silly to me is being 8 years or so on a console and we are still behind getting back features that existed 8 years ago. And they are still removing features. Silly is defending this.

I'm sure customization is a core feature for Forza

And progression/regression is still fairly new to sports games and in most games it rarely works right YET the franchise mode still works!

Just check out these very Madden forums a look at all the people who complain about progression but STILL have people enjoying franchise mode.

So please, cut it out with the "this is more important than that"

Roger that.....I think bucky60 and I are trying to point out that the proper design would be to build around features instead of disregarding them only to create more work for yourself later and at the same time create customer dissatisfaction. I'm suggesting that the planning and implementation of how CCM was handled is done very poorly thats all.

Maybe the disconnect with users like you and I is much greater that I thought.

That's onions on a cheeseburger... To me you can still gave a cheeseburger without them (although I love onions on my cheeseburger)

I agree with that as well, disagreements just generally come across so short and terse on forums... and I just disagree with some of the characterizations/interpretations of the problem. They ran out of time, or things weren't designed well... like most things the truth is probably somewhere in the middle and compromises had to be made.

It is what it is, the missing elements affect me very little if at all, but I sympathize.

Ok...well I prefer my girlfriend to have hair and teeth even though you can have one without them.....lol

Seriously though, you're telling me that editing isn't considered a core feature?

Me too, editing players is an important feature. However the way some are coming across is that you have to put that ahead of everything else (including Gameplay itself and game modes actually functioning properly) and that just isn't how things work. Also I.would be willing to bet that if they did stop work on say cpu trade logic to get editing in... They would be the first to throw a fit that trade logic Is wrong.

It's not an us vs them discussion, its about what is best for the Madden Community yet the majority of the complaints seek to be coming from a "me, me, me" perspective. I have accepted the fact that video game companies in general don't make games for "me specifically" they attempt to make them for everyone. Obviously that is impossible and not everyone will be happy but assuming that they should make a game for one crowd in particular is wholeheartedly incorrect
