This is my biggest issue at this point with the whole "we ran out of time thing". If XP and story lines was designed properly it would't have been a time issue because it would have been built around core features.

Edite: I'll add that this is where some of the disconnect is with people like myself voicing their displeasure and people like CRMosier_LM and Big FN Deal. I think the additions are great and I'm happy for the balance now with online and offline, i'm just not pleased with design decisions and feel that it could've been handled in a way that would of allowed greater flexibility for both online and offline. If the features that were removed for offline were in fact designed within CCM we'd all have a more robust game and thats just a simple fact.

editing is not a core feature (as in the game concepts all work without it)... my opinion only.

We appear to be of a not dissimilar mindset despite you being an online guy (?) And myself being strictly offline (and OCD) however I am not petitioning you to get editing into M13 as you seem to assume, more trying to understand the rationale behind its omission and attempting to fathom any possible hurdles to it's re-introduction into M14 that I don't understand.
Also maybe venting some frustration because until this leaked out I was SO hyped .. Sorry

XP isn't a core feature. Neither is stats tracking. Trades aren't a core feature. Practice drills aren't either. Neither is progression. But these are all important to a lot of people.

@bucky so progression/regression isn't a core feature for a multi year game mode. please point me to one that doesn't have them

Really?.........You've been able to edit rosters forever and then last year full editing within franchise was added because EA said they agreed that it was important to let people create their own experience without limitations.

Maybe the disconnect with users like you and I is much greater that I thought.
