Madden NFL 13 CCM Will Not Allow You to Play Other Games on the Schedule, Only Yours

This was back in Madden 10 when offline didn't get upgraded like promised. There wouldn't have been a need to remove the features they have.

That's what Live Opponent was in Madden 07, which I keep ranting about. lol.

2k12 removed the My Crew mode out of My Player. It was explained in detail why it was removed though.

I can understand other users having different preferences, truly I do. But the things you guys are wanting, pretty much defeat the purpose of the mode. Taking one team through a franchise.

The total 32 team control deal is more akin to text based types of sports sims more often than not.

Though if the cpu AI is boneheaded with trades and resignings, I could see where that could be a problem.

Offline Gamer here that plays various games on the schedule, controlling all the moves for all 32 teams and well, after all the joy of hearing the improvements to gameplay, the monopoly pulls out all the great things that I enjoyed from their franchise for the past few years when game play was mediocre at best.

What I don't get is that EA had NFL HEAD COACH. This is basically what connected careers is all about now...is it not? Is it not NFL HEAD COACH with the ability to actual play the game now? Isn't that all it is????

Not being able to play the game in the fashion I have been able to for the past 10 years even with the new shiny upgrades, equals a NO BUY for me as well. You can not sell us the 2013 version of a car that we love after taking off the wheels, steering wheel, seats and radio and call it the same car! AM I TAKING CRAZY PILLS!!!!

No thank you for the laugh. You stated "some" of the fans enjoy those features. Regardless of how you feel about those features, EA's priorities are to the mass audience. This isn't a game pitched to a niche audience of hardcore fans (as sad as that is) rather for everyone. There are going to be alot of people out there who just don't care about these minor (Yes I said minor because lets be honest, it's just spilled milk) reductions in 13. EA is comfortable releasing this game as is because 1.) they know it will sell like hot cakes due to the upgrades and additions they did add, and 2.) they now have a solid foundation to improve upon for next years game. Here's my point. When dealing with a new engine that is built in a year, there is ALOT of work that goes into tweaking it to make it remotely releasable. That can take months to do. Features that can't get worked out in time get cut. I guarantee the reason you can't edit rosters and equipment has to do with aligning those changes among all other users in your CCM. But wait... I'm sure that just works perfectly through the use of EA magic huh? (Thats sarcasm if you couldn't tell) It's time to stop setting your expectations so high and be realists... After all... It is another EA game...
