Madden NFL 13 CCM Will Not Allow You to Play Other Games on the Schedule, Only Yours

No but they also know that everyone isn't always going to be happy. There's still plenty of people that aren't devastated (or even care) about the things omitted. I'm sure there's tons of people that play online that are absolutely ecstatic with what CCM is offering them this year. I know if I was an online guy, I'd be absolutely thrilled headed into this year.

Connected Careers is sounding more like a RPG and arcade as more info comes out. I'm all for a revamped progression system, but why go almost total RPG? Just progress guys they way they did on last gen with tweaks.

The arcade factor is that you have to create a coach or player and cannot control the front office staff moves. If you get fired, you either have to get hired someplace else, or "game over".

If I am off base here please let me know but from things I have read that's the summary of Connected Careers.

I don't know why people are hating on ccm? It has a lot of great things in it and looks really good. The issue is what got taken out. That is what we should be focused on. Not bashing the potential career mode we have been wanting for the last 4 years.

It's all geared towards the causal and online gamer now. Madden is no longer a football sim. Each year they have slowly been moving away from a sim experience and now they just blew the barn doors off.

Nothing against the casual and online gamer but that's where I think everything is moving to. I don't agree with it but that seems to be what EA wants to do with Madden.

You don't have to create a coach or player. You can take over an existing coach and have total control over front office moves. You also have the ability to turn coach firings off or if you are fired, simply take over for the next coach of your team if you want to play 30 years with the same team.

actually herky you can recreate your coach and take your team back over or take control of their new one or even turn off firing. and you can set progression to auto and it will be more like last gen than the way it is in 12
