The RTP will be good, but of course, they haven't fixed the bad running animations that have been there for years, along with the footplanting issues, the o-line d-line, the passive WR's/WR & DB issues, etc. The CC could've remained it's own feature that should have been implemented in M14 so they could improve franchise mode current by bringing back some features from old-gen/other next gen maddens that had potential, but if course, the only way they can add stuff to the three main modes (Franchise, Superstar, Online Franchise) is by fusing them, and sacrificing features that some of us liked in order to put stuff in that (at least in my honest opinion) don't really outweigh the negatives, at all. But you get the point.

Oh, 2k12 didn't include an important online feature from 2k11 and people were up in arms about that.

I thought it was called The Crib, but I could be wrong on the name of it.

Not immediately anyway. It took a couple years before they gave up on the vision cone.

I could see it "getting a pass" for M14 and probably M15 before re-evaluating another shift/significant re-ordering of things.

If, by M15, it really doesn't pick up momentum, I could see M16 moving in another direction.

But thing is that, if they had to sacrifice features for an incomplete mode, then they should have just put it next year to be honest. Those other games didn't have have a stale franchise mode because they either had a real direction/knew what was wrong for the most part/listened to their fans.

Still, they just didn't have to fuse them to make the modes better. Just compare it with other games, whether it old gen, new gen, or other sports games.

I have NEVER seen a company FUSE GAME MODES just to add features that can work.

hey should have just given us a simple 'season mode' plain and simple. so that we can have our own rosters in it draft classes eidt players play as many games as we want in a season

As a 49ers fan I am going to be bored to death playing seahawks rams cardinals 2 times each a season.

and they try to bring in the whole 'unquie stadium ' crap that every stadium will look unique to bad we won't be able to play and check out any stadium we wish now unless it's in play now mode.

I honestly don't care about this personally, but the devs HAD to have known the type of reaction and backlash this would cause. They can't possibly have just thought that everyone would be ok with this... Could they???

What I don't get is why didn't they do this a long time ago?

Why not just have ONE franchise and a toggle/menu for if you want to take it online or not long before now? Why hasn't online franchise just be a mirror image of offline - just...online? Why didn't they work on a revamp before now? Why wasn't M10 the revamp? Or M09, or whichever was the first one for the PS3?

I don't know - it just like a lot of things don't make sense.
