Madden NFL 13 Roster Editing Issue Rears Its Ugly Head

Yep, Madden is the only sports game where they take away features and control and people actually defend that decision. You know how pissed people would be if you couldn't edit accessories in NBA2k anymore?

55 pages of complaints about this, but I wonder how many people who posted in this thread will complain with their wallets? And even if they did, would that sway anyone's opinion?

Maybe if consumers did what they did to Michael Jackson when Nirvana's second album came out (returned a bunch of Jackson albums, which put Nevermind at number 1 by default).

Clearly taking AWAY options doesn't bode well. Ask the 2K guys who did this with All Pro Football. Didn't work out too well for them, did it? This is a bad move for EA, and maybe if the response is drastic enough, someone might weezle their way into ending the exclusive license. Either way, they will lose at least SOME money over this if it isn't addressed ASAP.

Yes there is. Also, you can switch control of teams during CCM. You arent stuck with that first team you picked.

I don't look the other way, never have. I was pumped for the offline franchise to get love last year even though I can't get into it any more. I knew eventually we would all get there. It's not a us vs them mentality even as much as some would try to make it that way.

Get this, it's funny.... after all these years of asking for it... long sleeves (the ones QB use) are IN the game!!!!

ONLY 1 PLAYER IN THE WHOLE GAME WILL GET TO USE THEM!!!! and that's assuming you choose to play as a QB.

Dang, those sleeves should come with a power/ratings boost

I already declared a few days ago that 13 just wasn't gonna meet my overall expectations and I'm bummed because XP and the new engine sound like they could be cool. I just can't go backwards by losing editing and custom playbooks and NCAA imports. As jacked up some of the features I use have been they're still there and its because people like me feel they're important and important enough to not even need to consider 13.

This release just feels like a complete nightmare with how its been developed and I'm looking forward to 14 very much. I'm not even buying NCAA 13 because it doesn't have draft export and its updated rosters for NCAA 12 and Madden 12 for me this year and playing both exactly how I like to.
