People are only being rude at this point because he is being silent. Minus calling something that is pretty important to a fair number of people "little things". If he would come out and talk it would not NEARLY be as big of an issue as it has now become.

True theres a bunch of questions I want answered about where these features fall on the priority list...

And is the reason Im baffled why anyone thinks this stuff is going to quickly come back fully for 14

I just have a really hard time believing they will when it looks like that^^^ is the new restrictions book for these features in future Maddens

We (the fans) will send letters/tweets to all the players to play/look like they do in Madden 13.

If you can't edit the game, edit real life to look like the game.

Brilliant ! LMAO!

See this doesn't work with Custome Playbooks though because it is in the game right now but for some reason it's not available in CCM. If the feature is bulit all you need to do is build an on/off switch for franchise and a lobby for online and it's rock n roll time. Am I missing something here? With the amount of investment made to build the feature and include it in the game even and you can't find time to build an on/off switch and a lobby?

He also doesn't like criticism...

I haven't seen any of the Tweets you mention every time this topic comes up...so I will take your word that they exist...but from the ones that have been posted...they were either formed as a question or based on a string of critical thought...

The guy is petulant in his acceptance of criticism...will he answer a question...yes/maybe...does he like to be questioned...no

Personally I tend to think it's the online cheating issues and the need to have contol over this which is why it has been removed, as with position changing. Heaven only knows about equipment and numbers tho!
we agree then!

Bottomline is... Regardless of how many changes we'd make to ratings, the system SHOULD be able to cope with it.

Why? Because team specific ratings are based on hard numbers + they have specific parameters as to what they look for. So regardless of whether a player is originally a 85 or I edit him to a 90, the system should be able to see his rating, original or edited, and value it according to its own team specific rating.

Actually, the problem really would be XP... since they higher you're ratings are, the more XP you need to progress.. thus, if we modify the ratings it would basically have to change the XP required to progress and this might not be 2 things that hand&hand.

Long story short... we lost player editing in order to get XP progression

If all that person did was just send a link to this thread and he blocked him... Then shame on him. However if he was cussing and what not, then I get it. No one in this thread is being unreasonable or truly insulting (minus some slight sarcasm that is humorous) so I don't see why he would block a tweet to this thread.

The majority, if not all, the options offline gamers are currently understandably disappointed about not being in CCM and MORE, have been repeatedly left out for online play. No slider sets, no player salaries, no CPU trade logic, one year we had to pay for All-Madden online ranked games, forced QB vision, blah, blah, blah.

I am reading these post where people are stating they can't believe EA/Tiburon would do something like this, when EA/Tiburon have been "doing something like this" to online gamers the entire time. I can't tell you of the number of posts, which I might should search for, when someone predominately an offline gamer would state "I don't care about online or online franchise, just improve offline" or "online franchise is the minority" in reply to threads and posts about equating or combining online/offline Franchise. Also with some offline gamers saying a flippant, "just don't play online then", year after year.

I don't mean to be a first class arsehole and I honestly do hope these options are added back but this seems like chickens coming home to roost. Maybe now that more Madden gamers get a chance to experience having frustrating limitations placed on how they have attempted to enjoy the game, we all can come together as a community to push for changes that benefit us all.
I dnt get this...at all, everyone can play offline...not everyone can play online...soooo imo Offline should ALWAYS be the staple of what you build off of...always..
