LOL, this game is once again going to be a hollow, incomplete experience.
Yup thats essentially the way it is..and usually its about 1 week before release that they MAY answer some of the tough questions..Been waiting 4 years for the answer to camera angles and the dreaded "skinny arm editing glitch" on top of other pertinent questions..

I wonder if while playing a dynasty game there will be a ticker scroll scoreboard of teams around the nation.

Then again, we're still waiting for stat overlays.

"And here is Coach X, new to the program, but successful with a 35-18 record at his first stop at ULL. We'll see what he can bring to the SEC." What do I want to do without? Cheerleaders. If they're not real, they're not worth looking at.
Can someone please elaborate on what they mean by "starting lineups" and how that should be implemented without using real life collegiate players?

Exactly what you see on TV, even if it has to be generic faces. Most people here used named rosters, so that won't be a problem. And then it would be nice if there would be some brief announcer discussion about the matchup and even a coach matchup cutscene.

Yeah I agree. I mean, I'm not too keen on seeing a bunch of guys with the same face. It kinda reminds you that those guys aren't real players in a way. I definitely wouldn't mind starting lineups being in, but I don't mind that they're not either.

When you go to lineup for the first series, have the player portraits along with hometown, class, and size. The 'best' player in a position group could be highlighted in yellow as a player to watch for.

Commentary could be used to talk about either the position group or a player of note.

"a true freshman is starting at left tackle for the Bulldogs today. We'll keep an eye out for him handling the pass rush."

"the defensive line had 5 sacks last week. number 99 was a major force."

"The redshirt senior wide receiver is averaging over 100 yards receiver this year. We'll see how the defense tries to contain him."

"the redshirt junior linebacker ran a 4.4 in high school. he has a lot of nfl potential."

And once the community edits the roster names in, they could say the name.

"Jelani Jenkins, the redshirt junior linebacker ran a 4.4 in high school..."

The immersion would really do wonders for the presentation.

My bad for such a boneheaded post and question, I had a momentary brain freeze or something. LOL.

I just remembered that NCAA Basketball 10 accomplished this nicely and demonstrates exactly what people want in NCAA Football 13. I have to agree, it seems really strange that this will not be in NCAA Football 13 considering it was in Madden 12 and NCAA Basketball 10. I wonder what the reasoning is behind that. Maybe Ben misunderstood the question and had a brain freeze like me but this made it in. lol
