You cannot compare rendering a Golf course with dynamic/animated 3D trees, grass and other objects to rendering a stadium. One tree can take the same rendering resources as a full 3D rendered team on a football field.....huge differences between the two.

Hey Divot, or anyone else here....have you heard if we'll have more comprehensive stats this year like we used to have? I liked TW12 a lot, but the stats were lacking compared to previous iterations.

As to more sophisticated presentation/graphical elements, I'll be looking for those in next-gen systems, and it may take a few versions to get it all in how we'd like.

My understanding is the the Online Country Clubs are loaded with stats. Not sure if that translates to the offline CM though....

There was mention of having more stats than 12, but likely not the depth some are looking for.... That was from a Dev, so take it for what it is....

They changed the ball physics? they seem better or is it just me,
Especially when you hit on the greens

They definitely moved the ball physics is a good direction.... ex... if you half swing a wedge, the ball spin is greatly reduced so that you do not get the wild spin ratios of years past. In fact, ball spin is determined by club speed entirely. The type of shaft you use in the club actually means something towards this as well. Flex ones create less speed and spin.. stiff creates more speed and spin. Tempo works as well. They worked a lot to make the ball react closer to real life rather than the arcade way of years past...

Great direction on that front...

Even long term players of the series will have a true learning curve this year.

Yes they have... I think the ball physics are better all around. Chips and pitches take proper trajectories and rolls as well. They did a commendable job with this, IMO.
