I thought one of the biggest early announcements was that there would be collisions now (in addition to collision awareness). Really? There are no collisions? I didn't see it mentioned in the fact sheet and was very confused by this because there was alot of discussion/hype about there finally being collisions earlier in Jan.

Yeah I remember reading back then that fielders will finally not go through each other like ghosts... then again maybe I misread it or it's literally true because of the new awareness that probably won't make the fielders do that anymore.

Re: MLB 12 The Show Fact Sheet

This is the best day of my life!

I think the one upgrade that will get overlooked is the fact that Challenge of the Week is now Free! I loved doing this last year, but one free round is not enough.

Diamond Dynasty sounds interesting. I know it is similar to Madden Ultimate Team and FIFA/NHL Ultimate Team but I never really played those modes because I don't know as many football, soccer and hockey players as I do baseball players. I can probably name all opening day starting lineups for every team(except maybe oakland and houston) but I know pretty much every player so I will probably enjoy this mode.

I like the improvments to Franchise and RTTS because I am primarily a RTTS Player so I always hated it when star players and top prospects got traded and when myself got traded out of no where. I know they definetly could have done more but I am still very satisfied with the upgrades to Franchise, RTTS and MLB 12 The Show

March 6th!

This is probably it, though I would think that would work better for the outfield than the infield (plays at the bases). Seems like those collisions would be pretty hard to "avoid" and still make it look realistic.

I think there was a misquote by one of the reviews which got some people confused. Probably there won't be collisions, but collision awareness prevents players from colliding, which introduces a whole array of new plays. And that's probably how the system works right now.

It would be nice if there eventually will be collisions and induced injuries, etc.

Re: MLB 12 The Show Fact Sheet

Diamond Dynasty might just be a game changer for the Show. While it sounds like certain modes from other games, it also sounds a bit different as well. Custom logos and uniforms along with "dynasty players" playing along side MLB players? This is going to bring custom team modes to a new level. I can't wait for this game to come out.

I think its alot more different & deep. Its going to be a challenge, I think, when spending your hard earned budget points. Improve one of your dynasty players? Maybe buy a pack to see if you find another better dynasty player to build upon? Maybe build a full set of dynasty player team or a full set of Mlb team? I think its going to be fun.

Like someone mentioned earlier, I do like Fifa Ultimate Team but I dont really know many players so I had to base it on stats, but when it comes to baseball I know pretty much 90%+ of all the players in the MLB so i will be more Immersed in it.

Cant wait.
