Wow New Jersey, I am sorry that you are having this issue. I play with the Skins and in my current Franchise I have no rain for the first time in my 1st home games.

Maybe you should clear your cache and try again.

From what I understand, if you clear your cache and you receive all the new patches and system updates, you are receiving the latest updates and patches not old ones. Old patches and system updates are overwritten and no longer needed. That is what I was told from xbox themselves when I called a while back.

They actually recommended that we clear our cache every once in a while if we had problems with our systems.

So if you guys are not getting the results of the patch, clear your cache and try again. Yes you will have to receive the latest system update for the xbox and it will probably take you some time before you are up and running but I think it is worth it.

Remember, all your games will get updated with title updates and patches once you clear your cache. So any games that have had recent title updates or patches will have to be updated as well.

Played bills in my cowboys franchise...i don't see ANY difference in the patch. Gus called marcel dareus Marcus cannon the entire game and half of my team is called by number, not name.

Agreed. It's ridiculous. Anything related to rosters or customization is ignored - most likely because they want to protect next year's sales.

Thanks for the confirmation... I'm happy I won't have to restart my franchise.

As for the "commentary and sound improvements", I'm still trying to figure out what they were exactly:

- Lots of players still called by number (ei Tim Tebow in still "Number Fifteen")
- People still experiencing their speakers poping... (luckily I havent had this problem)
- Crowd noise? I've played 1 game post patch and haven't really heard a change in the crowd noice, noting noticable anyways.

This is what I noticed playing 2 games last night (exhibition) post patch regarding audio;

-Lots of players still called by number. You noticed it with Tebow, I noticed it with Green-Ellis. Everytime I ran a play with Ellis, the announcers usually said nothing, and if they did said "# 42 up the middle!" So its almost as if they didnt fix names instead of numbers, but simply removed a lot of number calling.

-I also have never had any popping. But I wonder if this is more of a PS3 issue, just like the field textures were only a PS3 issue and thats why we never see it on 360... But it seems the popping is still an issue for those who do hear it.

-Since the patch, I actually think crowd noise is more responsive and louder. I also have this slider maxed at 100 and a fancy 5.1 surround sound system.. if that matters.

-I also want to add, since the patch my intro's have dissapeared. At least in the 2 exhibition games... When the QB and RB were running out during introductions it was literally silent except for the low hum of the crowd... Dont know if anyone is having this...

So I'm wondering if their is a graphical upgrade because thier was never an issue with the 360 turf. Was the patch the same for the ps3 and 360? If so thier might be some difference on the graphical side.

Also, does the patch effect gameplay? List what upgrades in gameplay you have noticed.

Can you keep the custom play books you already created pre patch, or do they get corrupted and erased.

I have not downloaded the patch yet and need more feedback before I do. Maybe some night games to see if thier is a graphical upgrade
