That stuff is slider dependent. A higher catching slider will create more frequent and more aggressive catching attempts by the receiver.

In addition, I manually catch most every pass just to ensure that my receiver takes the best position.

Even on the plays I don't control, I find that the CPU does a fair job of going for the ball. Fades work by themselves, for example.

I am happy with the patch overall but it looks like it did not fix existing custom playbooks. I still has my added formations in their own tab instead of all under "shotgun" or "singleback" etc.

Has anyone made a NEW playbook to see if they are fixed? I am at work and can't test this until later.

Yea but there are no slider adjustments when playing online ranked matches.

Just downloaded patch today. First game went to OT. I noticed each time received 3 timeouts. It is 2 timeouts in OT right?? Not sure if this was just from this patch or not, since I just noticed it now.

You shouldn't. I don't have gold, but I can get patches for my games. (I don't have madden, however so I wouldn't be a good judge for that.)
