There's little space on a real NBA court for 6'6the guys. Many player step out of bounds pump faking and driving after spotting up for the corner three will be nice to see this reflected in the game.
They've fixed the corner 3's.

"We took care of that problem boss, accidentally stepping on the 3 point line is a thing of the past"

There you go man! Hope that makes you happy

You can be caught by faster players though and a lot of that can depend on how long you wait to initiate your layup also. You will be more worried about turnovers as the cpu pushes hard at least the Heat did that I remember on any turnovers.

I did see some correctly called charging calls. They were still tweaking that when I left. Last year it was definitely broken and that was the feedback I gave them. Wether it is enough we will have to see but I did see them called. I agree with you last year was turrible.

Good question. I felt it was happening too much early in the process but it seemed to be at a good place just before I left. So that it depends on the ballhander ratings vs the defensive players ratings and situation of course. Better ballhandlers should pick up less than poor ones varied but defensive ratings and skill.

Under the hood.. stuff that I can't talk about... 2k is SUPER DEEP !!! I have a greater appreciation for how they get resolutions.
I know this thread is discussing the corner and the out of bounds force field but I have a question pertaining to but not exactly with these new features. I understand players want more control, but just as in removing the out of bounds forcefields and allowing players to dribble out of bounds, have they addressed momentum in that regard?

ex. I'm thinking of the repetitive situation of Derrick Rose catching an outlet pass and throwing a perfect pass to a sprinting Kyle Korver who jumps up to catch a pass in the 3 point corner area, and sets his feet on a DIME for a pull up 3...has that been addressed? I personally feel Korver should be running out of bounds to catch that baseball type pass or taking a sideways, falling out of bounds three point attempt.

Sidenote: Does anyone know about the animation when you can press the charge button to draw charges on the bump consistently? Has that been addressed as well? I hate the concept of being able to draw a charge CONSISTENTLY in the backcourt as that does not happen in real life...nor have I seen many attempts in the backcourt in the NBA

This is a very welcome addition. in 2k11 every time i would try to use the baseline as an extra man( which is very realistic basketball) i would just get beat to the rim by the offensive player even when there wasn't any space. they would just bounce of some kind of invisible wall which would just squeeze them past the defender for an easy layup or a foul. Now people really gonna have to think about taking the ball to the corner cause every good defensive team in the nba lick their fingers every time they see an offensive player take the ball to the corner. that creates perfect trapping opportunities to create turnovers. Any addition that will make people stop playing video game and play basket ball im up for it. we were asking for realism thats realism at its best. lets go 2k keep them coming..

^^ That's the reason why I liked the force fields. Now it's going to be almost impossible to do sideline three's without stepping out of bounds again.

So long as you don't sprint to a corner or do a stepback(when already in the corner) you should be fine. Passes to the corner three should be unaffected....

So what happened to this apparent removal of the out of bounds force field?

It's gone, I accidently go out of bounds all the time. The computer does it as well.
