Also, as I said above, it appears these tendencies are mostly being affected in games involving human play. I'm looking at Jefferson for LSU and even though it says balanced QB after 9 games he has 101 rushes for 349 yards and 7 rushing TDs. That tells me the CPU is still scrambling with him.

My theory is if you were to play LSU though in a dynasty game he would not scramble much and play like a balanced player, despite the fact he is in the simulated games... Thoughts?

I went through the other day any change be it skin tone, 1lb weight change, face, etc. change their tendancy it only effects 2 tendencies per position. i had a post on page 5 or 6 i think. and to answer ODogg's question to the best of my ability from what i've read throughout this thread it doesn't seem to effect sim stats because the ratings seem to govern sim stats but tendencies take effect in user vs. comp games. for example balanced DR only scrambled 2 times for 7 yards but had negative yards at the end of the game due to sacks when i played it, but when i loaded default rosters with him as a scrambler he took of 12 times for 136 yards and 2 TD's. hope that answers your question.

Reading the first few pages of the thread, how big are the gameplay differences with named rosters vs generic?

I'm only three games into my season, and could live with random names. It's a shame since the Community Rosters are great.

I'm not seeing a big difference but to each his own, I don't think it's worth a restart really, but you may have to restart when the patch comes out..

I tend to restart anyway when a big tuner/patch comes out. Guess I'll keep my current dynasty, and play one with random names until this gets sorted out.

So does this glitch actually change the attributes of the players? I have been away from the forum the last couple of days, so I am just seeing this thread for the first time. From what I gather the tendencies of players are being changed, does that also change the ratings because I thought the ratings were ultimately what dictated the way a player will behave on the field and their sim stats?

It would really be terrible if the roster makers had to possibly redo all their work, especially the community ones since there have been so changes made for teams already. Was about to start my dynasty sometime soon, guess I will have to wait a while longer. No way I would use non-named rosters or any rosters besides the community one at this point.

So if I start a dynasy with default roster and use auto naming I won't have any problems at all ? What about recruits each year and there no problems with them either using default rosters ?

What about if I just name coaches will that cause problems ?

From glancing over the thread, it seems like using the games default rosters with random names works fine. As for naming coaches, it shouldn't mess with the players other than the scheme run.
