I'm on Live silver at the moment, so I just got the demo last night. Played one game as Texas against Oregon on AA. LMJ destroyed me and I ended up losing 21-6. I enjoyed what I played. While the game does look similar to NCAA 11 in terms of in-game presentation, it does have a different feel when you actually play. The removal of suction is definitely noticeable. OL/DL interaction and zone-coverage improvements are evident, as well. Overall, looks like another solid and fun football game.

I really don't get how this feels the same as 11 to some people...

What don't you get about it? The gameplay feels and plays the same to alot of people. All we have to go by is the demo, and that will make or break a purchase.

I disagree big time with that statement.

The demo is 2.5 months old and according to some people that have the game already, the game is much better than the demo, plus 1st day patch, plus tuner sets in the future.

The demo shouldn't make or break a purchase.

Play 11 with default sliders and play this Demo. They feel way different.

I understand where you are coming from, but in this case, the demo is not what you should go off. In years past, maybe, but not this year. The demo is so old and pretty much everyone with a retail copy has stated just how much better everything is.

Also, go play NCAA 11's demo, then this demo. If you still think they're the same game, then you probably just don't want to see the differences.

I swear they tuned the demo and didn't say anything. For one, I had the texas and FSU QB move around in the pocket a LOT. I actually had Gilbert shake off a sack and find a reciever that broke open in the last second.

Also, what leads me to believe they tuned the demo is the OLine is picking up blitzes MUCH better than they used to. I was sacking the QB left and right on blitzes, now the CPU reads them much better and either gets rid of the ball or gets out the pocket. and on ST there seems to be a chance of blocked kicks now. More guys are getting through up the middle and off the edges.

of course it could just be the randomness of the game.

I don't get how it doesn't to some people.
Obviously the tackling is different and a huge improvement and I suppose the AI pass D is quite a bit better but other than that I'm not seeing a ton of gameplay improvements and they're mostly little things. The presentation and graphics sure seem to have stepped up though. I do have a possible graphical...well it's not even a complaint, quip I suppose...but I'll save that for the full game.
