Yeh, the thing I'm most excited about besides RTG is custom playbooks. That will make my experience so much better because I am a defensive guy and with the limited time to pick a play sometimes I can't find what I'm looking for but I know what it is. Now that we can actually organize our plays within our playbooks is going to be so much better.

So, the 3D grass looks absolutely amazing when it's in replay, otherwise it's just the same as it normally is which is fine by me. Absolutely love the new tackling and zone coverage improvements. One thing I have noticed though that is different from NCAA's before, stamina seems to be more realistic. For example, Texas intercepted a pass with their CB. I tried running him down with Oregon's QB (whose name I can't think of atm, sorry Oregon fans), and he managed to keep up with him for a while before falling off. Unless the DE has the right angle on an HB they won't run him down like season's past.

I've noticed this too.

Also, after a challenge the Ref walks onto the field and announces the decision. 100X better than in 11, where one team would suddenly just lose points or something.

I actually had it where I was playing against FSU on Heisman and I was up 7-3 with like 5 seconds left. Manuel kept inching up in the pocket, then he took off, crossed the line by a good two yards, and was still somehow allowed to throw the ball. By that time, all my defenders had come off their man, so no one was covering the receiver obviously.

The more I play this demo, the more I realize the improved gameplay....it's not perfect, but it's definitely better than last year

Dont try to act like people that prefer not to play All Madden/Heisman are just big chumps...I can win the same amnt of games on both but w/o the BS...and the passing thing ur also wrong. Numerous reviews have pointed this same issue out since NCAA 2005. I was one of the people that used precision passing and vision cone of madden so passing in NCAA and Madden has never been an issue...you can defend a broken product all you want but EA has been giving us the same game w/ the same issues for years...too bad we only have it as the only option...

Also to add to ur awful point about sliders...sliders dont do anything for the logic that is built into the system...increased user drops, fumbles and completely overthrown receivers has nothing to do with the sliders...its just a poor way to make the game challenging...instead of making the cpu tougher thru actual gameplay they do stupid things to keep the game close...i can still put up a blowout from time to time on the max difficulty..
I been playing Madden since it first dropped on sega myself and the Max level has always been super easy.. It just started getting a little harder over the past few years.. All-Pro and All-American on the current gen is about as hard as the games use to be back in the day on the Max level when I use to thrash the CPU on a regular. Thats my opinion on it.

I don't know what to tell you. Throwing has never been a problem for me because all I use is the left stick(use to be the D-Pad the left stick is even better) to directional throw and precision pass and I'm very good at it. Most people that complain about balls sailing on them are guys who only press the button and don't use the left stick to place balls when they throw. You should see how low I have the USER accuracy on my all-madden sliders.

Now to add to the awful point you should tried to make that sliders don't effect the logic that you claim is built into the system is completely wrong. Why wouldn't raising the catching on Heisman help lower the amount of drop passes?? That makes absolutely no sense. People use to say the same thing about all-madden and I crushed that theory with the sliders I put together because guys aren't dropping passes like that and I already made my point about using the left stick to throw the ball. If you continue to just press the button to throw you willl always have trouble throwing the ball playing on Heisman because they want you to use the left stick more to throw. USER skills is needed more to play on max levels. All-American or lower you can just press the button without using the left stick to make throws because they make the passing game easier for guys. If you can blow the CPU out on the Max level why would you want to even play on a lower level??? Why not adjust the sliders at that level to fix the BS that happens with playing on the max level? You say its a built in to make the CPU basically cheat to win on the Max level. Same can be said that the make the CPU play weak and dumb so you can do what you want to them on lower levels. I prefer to go where the challenge is and adjust things but to each is own. We just got to agree to disagree like you said..

I loved NCAA 11 and was quite content with that game. If they did not touch Dynasty and RTG I would be passing on the game.

Those feature upgrades will create a brand new way to play the game and add a tremendous amount of replay value to carry me for years.

Madden is looking like the same story. This is the first time in 6 years I have been this excited for EA football games.

OK..I have bogged down and played the demo for 3 days. here are my impressions

The Good.
1. graphics and smooth gameplay are vastly improved
2. the in game commentary and storylines are solid
3. running is improved as is defense

THE BAD:
1. comp qb doesnt scramble
2. alot of pancakes going on
3. quick clock on defense to pick a play feel rushed
4. as i get hit it always incompletion

Ok to sum it up, i see this game vastly improved. The things i saw can be patched and fixed..I liked about this game it reminds me of ncaa 99. and 2004. I remember my buddy and i would play online together. You were able to literally establish a run game. I racked up 200 yds with richardson in a demo. Not because of bogus, i mixed in passes, and followed my blocks. I have the best offensive line on the game so that didnt hurt. I feel like i could run with any team, mixing plays , attacking tired players, it felt like a legit game plan could be effective. I cant wait to run dynasty, but i noticed when u have a drive going the momentum really swung. My early impressions have me excited. I didnt do online dynasty last year so anyone who has experince or is running one, hit me up..dimebaghebert15
