I Can't even get a pass rush, so I don't think sacks are going to be a problem. I get pancaked every single time by the Texas OLine.

I swear Trent Richardson must be maxed out on every single stat. I swear, hes broken off the sickest runs i have ever seen both as CPU playing against him and as a user playing with him, dude is a beast! I just dont know why they took out the ability to look at the depth chart, we had it last year. Im really liking the game. Its actually a lot of fun and just got done playing the game of my life vs bama. 15-14 FSU!! Weight does seem to be a factor when running though. All of it makes me very excited for the new features in game because i feel the gameplay, to me, IMO, is very solid.

Good thing about the PS3 version is it brought back good memories for me of Madden and NCAA back in the day on PS2. Since it looks the same. Good memories of when EA made some good football games.

I wouldnt play NCAA 12 on my PS3 if it was free. I love football and college football 100xs more than baseball but I would never play NCAA 12 over MLB the Show.

I dont know if EA does this to PS3 owners every year or if this is a one time thing. I hope this doesnt happen with Madden.

Is it really that bad?

Seems like a tighter ncaa 11 to me

Seen a few super jumps by the cpu linebackers. The cpu pass coverage is very tight and receivers drop more passes. I'm in favor of more drops but as long as it's a realistic amount. Last year after tuner updates I feel drops were too infrequent, on the demo they seem a bit high.

Improved some things over 11 but as is always the case there will be new problems in 12 so you have to decide if overall enough has improved to buy. Right now the answer for me is no, but only because I liked 11 and there isn't enough changed for me to buy right away. If you liked 11 then you'll probably like 12 as well though.

after watching the oregon v.s. texas full demo game on pastapadre, i have made two assumptions, either texas d line and linebacking core a beast on the game at getting pressure, or getting pressure is overall easy for all the teams

i was playing on AA and i would get pancaked but the CPU QB would hold on to the ball for so long that he would get sacked easily. my AI got 6 sacks in my first game. the other thing i noticed off the bat was the CPU QB throwing the ball away randomly without pressure.

pro:
-tackling is a lot better. not perfect, but pretty nice. momentum and dynamic tackles work well for the most part
-grass looks nice
- zone coverage

con:
-still a lot of warping
-like others have said, little sense of weight or control over the players
-QB play (see above)

more coming soon. it feels like 11.5. solid, but nothing vastly improved. i'll probably still get it as i like the college game better. i think it has more replay value with dynasty, recruiting, and way more teams and styles than the nfl.

Anyone had much success with the option? Seems like I either fumble or get it blown up in the backfield each time.
