The whole youtubers vs game devs war is pretty hilarious on both sides.

I wish that NCAA would get new blood in there as well and get guys like Ben out of there so we can get some hungry new blood in there. Some new guys who are chomping at the bit to take the franchise to a whole new level and aren't just sitting back on past success.

Just because guys like Ian interacted with us on the boards doesn't mean he was amazing at what he did because in the last 5 years Madden has seen many of it's loyal fanbase, people who have been there from the start, turn on them and not buy the game. So i'm looking at all this change as a huge positive provided that the next crop of hungry developers are up to the high demands of the consumers.
Your new blood is Roy Harvey from NCAA.

Anyone named Harvey will be a sheer genius. Signed, Brian Harvey!

oh man, that guy seemed cool.
i liked him.

maybe Josh Looman moves up higher?
I wouldnt have a problem with a bigger role for 'Mr. Franchise'.

In any event I hope he is happy where he moves next.
life is short, go for yours Filly.

It's already been announced that Roy Harvey from NCAA is taking Phil's spot.

do you really want to go there?

"brought us a game that was much closer to the vision of OS"?

then why does Madden 12 have more similarities (gameplay wise) with Madden 08 (Ortiz's last year there) than Madden 09-11.

you act like the player models were that much better in Madden 09?

sure they were big those years, but they went from a photo-realistic look to a cartoony look with Madden 09-10...players were also skinny and short...but for this year they look like they went back to the photo-realistic look.

Madden 09-11 had animation problems...players were jittery.....and of course ProTak and just eh tackling animations affected on the field gameplay.

but you look at Madden 12 and the gameplay reminds me of Madden 08, as far as tackling.

I don't think it's a coincidence why some are excited about this year's version, because it is losing all the on the field gimmicks and going back to core gameplay.

here is Madden 08...imo, it looks similar to Madden 12 gameplay wise.....compared to what we've had these past couple of years.
